Why do Christian nations think they can assimilate Muslims into their communities , does Islam attempt to assimilate Christians in their communities ?
by smiddy inislam /muslims today are what christianity was centuries ago , the two beleif systems are like oil and water , not to be mixed .
christians are not tolerated spreading their infectious disease amongst muslims, in islamic countrys , and harsh penalties apply for them doing so in muslim countries , including the death penalty.
stonings , whippings etc.. on the other hand christian nations are very tolerant of muslim extremists who incite hatred and violence on their own territory , and they get a slap on the wrist and say dont do it again .

Chuck Wilkins is the Councilman
Sent: Friday, May 09, 2014 1:46 PM
To: CHUCK WILKINS
Subject: Channel 13 KRQE Interview with Muras about the church being built adjacent to their property Dear Councilman Chuck Wilkins,
I saw the Channel 13 News Thursday night and am concerned about the situation of public records not being released to the adjacent neighbors who requested them. Also I am concerned about whether proper inspections will be made and whether proper permits have been issued. It is imperative that a building raised next to a private residence must be up to the neighborhood codes with permits and inspections. Construction should stop until these issues are resolved.
Sincerely,
Carol Conoboy
Public records are available, if you would like you can go to the City Clerks office and request to see them yourself. If you wish to leave with a copy, you can have copies for .25 cents per page.
The Church does have a permit and has done all inspections required. I would recommend that you call channel 13 and complain to them about misleading the public.Chuck Wilkins
Tina,
Sorry I am in meetings all day till 5:30.
I completely sympathize with Jim and Janet Mura's situation, but the Jehovah's Witness church is not violating any ordinances or codes that I am aware of. It is unfortunate that they have built so close to their neighbor's property, but no one is guaranteed a view unless you buy the lots between you and your view. Some lots, because of their geographic make-up are ensured a view, but most are not.
We would all hope that our neighbors would be considerate when building next to an existing property owner, but this is not always the case, and the city cannot intervene if they are following the law.
Chuck WilkinsRegarding the family’s claim of plans being withheld from them by the city, no detail such as date of occurrence, name of the employee who indicated plans would not be provided, etc. has been provided by the family to knowledge to substantiate their claim, or to allow city administration to investigate. It very well may have been the case that at the time they inquired, the plans had not been submitted to the city yet. Or, there may have been confusion over how to request to inspect and obtain and pay for copies of public documents.

Plans for huge Jehovah's HQ take shape
by insidetheKH inplans for a huge jehovahs witness commune on the outskirts of chelmsford are gathering pace.. the international bible students association, the charity which manages jehovahs witnesses printing and literature distribution, wants to create a new british headquarters.. the 82-acre site (about 15 football pitches) at temple farm site, off ship road, west hanningfield.. the plans include a printery - producing bible-based literature - admin and language translation of?ces, video and sound production studios, an auditorium, training centre and workshops all on site.. plus there will be one and two bedroom apartments - for up to 1,200 residents and visitors - along with onsite caterers, laundrettes and healthcare facilities.. the site would also have its own energy centre - making it self-sufficient - and a new access road would also be built from temple wood.. a resident from stock, 60, who didnt want to be named, said: its all a bit sci-fi if you ask me.
its a very unusual development, a commune really.
i wouldnt say i was against it as it is all a bit of a mess at that site at the moment.. the land, currently occupied by a car breakers yard, was removed from the green belt by chelmsford city council in 2008 and earmarked for employment use.. ibsa agreed to buy the land from its current owners in december, as long as they get planning permission for the project.

@Eden no they wont. For example, ever visited the Germany branch and printery? Look at its size. Another example is the branch office in the Netherlands. There is the ICT department of the Watchtower bible and Tract Society and its a location a lot of goods are transported to the rest of the world. It will also expand the coming years. Has also to do with the Netherlands being an important international Internet Hub. AMS-IX is within the top 3 of the worlds biggest Internet Exchange Points. Also the UK is not the best option, if you look at it logistically, to supply many other parts of Europe.

PLANS for a huge Jehovah’s Witness “commune” on the outskirts of Chelmsford are gathering pace.
The International Bible Students Association, the charity which manages Jehovah’s Witnesses’ printing and literature distribution, wants to create a new British headquarters.
The 82-acre site (about 15 football pitches) at Temple Farm site, off Ship Road, West Hanningfield.
The plans include a printery - producing Bible-based literature - admin and language translation offices, video and sound production studios, an auditorium, training centre and workshops all on site.
Plus there will be one and two bedroom apartments - for up to 1,200 residents and visitors - along with onsite caterers, laundrettes and healthcare facilities.
The site would also have its own energy centre - making it self-sufficient - and a new access road would also be built from Temple Wood.
A resident from Stock, 60, who didn’t want to be named, said: “It’s all a bit Sci-fi if you ask me. It’s a very unusual development, a commune really. I wouldn’t say I was against it as it is all a bit of a mess at that site at the moment.”
The land, currently occupied by a car breakers yard, was removed from the green belt by Chelmsford City Council in 2008 and earmarked for employment use.
IBSA agreed to buy the land from its current owners in December, as long as they get planning permission for the project. The deal is expected to exceed £10million. The council did not confirm who the current land owners were.
Colin Massey, from CSM Consultancies for the developers, was speaking at public meetings in West Hanningfield and Stock at the weekend.
He said: “The management of historic contamination, and enhanced public footpaths through the countryside are just two positive benefits.
“A few understandable concerns were raised, such as traffic implications, design of buildings etc but most visitors were reassured when they were able to study and discuss actual details of the proposals.
“The reaction of the overwhelming majority of visitors was very positive.”
In January, Michael Bowers of ASB Skips was £6,000 fined by Chelmsford Magistrates for running illegal waste sites on the land and there is a history of enforcement notices served on previous owners.
In a letter to the council, IBSA said the land was “likely” to be contaminated.
IBSA’s headquarters is currently located in Mill Hill, North London. The charity sais it had chosen Temple Farm for its new home because it has “excellent transport links and is set in a beautiful rural location”.

A COUNCILLOR said plans for the live/work centre will improve the area - and that Jehovah’s Witnesses will make great neighbours.
Michael Harris, the Conservative ward councillor for Bicknacre, East and West Hanningfield, said: “I believe this development will make a huge, favourable difference to the area. It’s been a dreadful site for some time.
“There will be some areas of concern, but I would like to see this put in place as soon as possible.”
He added that the Jehovah’s Witnesses will make great neighbours. He said: “Before I retired, I worked for a construction company and these people were our corporate neighbours and they were always superb.”

Could the WT have paid of large loans when it sold NY properties?
by StephaneLaliberte init seems that everyone is taking for granted that the sociaty has made 1 billion in profit.
could anyone tell me why it would not be a posibility that the society had a large number of mortgages attached to these properties?
wouldn't that explain the latest monney grab from the congregations?.

can you do the math?
they paid peanuts compared with what they get now for the real estate in Brooklyn. They bought lots of it when the market was bad and a lot of those properties were in very bad shape,.. so very cheap.
They sold/sell it when the market is way up and the buildings are in excellent condition.
