  Who really belives that there is a Satan

  is there any real evidence that there is a satan and a bunch of nasty demons?

  it seems to be implanted on into our hard drives of our minds through the bible and religions litature.. it seems to me if the bible told us the moon was made of swiss cheese and religious litature said pigs could fly most humans would agree at once.

  Social anxiety VS. Jw influence

  my question for tonight is this : after leaving the witnesses do you still feel disjointed from society in general ( and i mean the human race not the wt) ?

  im realizing that i still have quite a hard time in social situations where there are more than say 4-5 people .....i tend to get into a dreamy feeling state , and just basically out of it feeling .

  i tend to blame it on being raised a dub .

  This is something that I have come to realise about myself over the years, but I have never been sure if it is my dub upbringing or just a part of my character. One on one or two I'm OK, three to six I start feeling uncomfortable, almost isolated, like I'm scrutinizing myself form outside. Anything more than 6 and I fade out completely. I hate crowds, like at sporting events etc.

  Therapy could probably sort it - but who wants to be normal anyway.

  One of the funniest films I've ever seen was an African film 'The Gods Must be Crazy'

  About a little bushman who finds a bottle. As they have no possessions in his tribe everyone has a use for it and everyone wants it, so it causes arguments and fights. So he decides to take the strange gift from the Gods and throw it off the end of the world. He comes into conflict with modern society and politics. Very funny.

  david blaine has been in his box for two weeks now.

  during that time it's become a daily event for people to go and throw eggs and other food at the box, people have also fired golf-balls at him and other objects and someone has even tried to cut the cables holding the box from the crane.

  people have also tried to shine lasers into his eyes and othe 'clever' tricks.. it's disgusting but typical of the yobbish, mindless behavior that is becoming too common in the uk.. i'm ashamed to be british.

  Isn't it just human nature. We're not a particularly not species, that's why we are top of the evolutionally tree and destroying our planet. It has always happened and will always happen. Look at any part of human history and it's ALL inhuman. We are caveman in a supposed civilised society, GTA III isn't the most popular video game becasue of it's 'niceness'.

  Personally , I have no problems with Blaine, pushing himself to the limit, physically and mentally. He's using the public as part of the stunt and the stupid pranks are all part of the publicity machine.

  Back in the days of the Raj shooting tigers was a very popular sport. Damn things ate the natives and looked good spread out on the polished wood floor in the vestibule. Take your Bombay Sapphire and tonic, strap your on your Remmy and mount your heiferlump and off you plod into the jungle.

  I took the test in my slippers, drinking English Perry, BBC1 on the telly, waiting for my Shepherds Pie to warm in the oven. It's just started to rain.
