  Though im not a quaker George fox who was a quaker in the 17th century was persecuted by the churches and many quakers were murdered by them for this. Its afascinating sit ethat have all george foxes letters about the KIngodm within

  I do not bleong ot anychurhc as i recognise the true churchcannot be seen andnot made with human hands and not not with bricks and mortar. Many of us recognise this and share with each other on youtube. Father does not dwell in anything physical he dwells within man.This was his purpose and plan right from the beginning. I ttookme over ten years to come to understand all these things.Your path may be different.

  The written testimony has lots about Christi n us

  There are many Scriptures which establish that it is Christ in us which saves us, for He is unending Life. No one is saved apart from Him living in them, since He is the only Savior. And we are not regenerated or "born anew" spiritually until He comes into us by His Spirit. But with Him in us, we are even now in the Kingdom, within.

  Hi Chris

  I was a JW about ten years ago. I let myself fade away after realisng some things. Im now a follower of Jesus Christ and surrendered myself to follow him alone. What has been shown to me in my search for him is that he dwells within us. This is the mystery of the ages revealed to the gnetile sin the 1st centruy. "Christ in us " the hopeof GLory. I also recognise the bible is awritten testimony about Christ but does not give you life.It is the inner testimony of him in us that gives life. He said he would come and live in all those who bleeive on him. Many are testifying about this realization as they step out of mans religion and into Christ alone. He will manifest himself to all within them. I hope you might cometot his realization on your journey.Peace and love ot you.   I am confused on the JW's 1000 year reign doctrine. Please explain it to me.

  i have always thanked randy/dogpatch for creating free-minds because i always felt i was the only one that felt that jw's were teaching some nonsense.

  i admit i still think they got some of their teachings correct but one doctrine i think is full of bologne is the 1000 year reign doctrine.

  if jesus came into power in 1914 and now it is 2014 does that mean jws believe it will only be a 900 year reign?

  the 1000 year rule is not literal it is symblic of eternity.Jesus has been ruling since the 1st century. The prohecise in Matthew were about the destruction of jeruslam in 70ad and the temple. That was the chosen generation and jesus came back for his elect in the 1st century just like he told them he would. THere is no dual fulfillment this is a deception.

  when i started to do my research concerning ttatt, i started to see the scriptures in a different light.

  one thing i noticed is that when the epistles talk about the last days, christs presence, the ressurection to heaven; the writers were speaking specifically of their time, not some two thousand years later.

  even when jesus speaks of his presence and the kingdom being established, he was talking to his disciples of that time and what they were soon to expect.

  Yes correct.I do not follow preterism or any other teaching except that of Messiah. THe prophecies were about the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple and itcame ot pass in that generation just like Messiah said. THe Great Tribulation was in the 1st century and never to be seen again.He came back for those he promised He rules as King ever since.   Was the Biblical Canon Directed by God?

  this is a question a sincere christian may agonize over after learning that some books of the bible were rejected by certain early christian groups,while other books that did not make the canon were accepted.

  also,when one realizes that so called inspired writers of the greek scriptures quote from apocrypha,that most christians reject today,one wonders if these writings that include these quotes should even be in the bible.. it is true that when it comes to the christian greek scriptures the canon has been closed for many centuries.

  also, these books have been accepted by christians ever since the second,perhaps first,century.

  The Gospel was preached to the whole world before 70 AD

  "Gospel preached to whole world, and then the end will come" Mt 24:11

  Introduction:

  1. One of the silliest arguments used to falsely claim that Matthew 24 was not fulfilled in the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD, is the idea that it is not until this present day in 2011 AD, that we are finally getting close to preaching the gospel to the whole world, “with the aid of modern technology”.
  2. This is the verse they use: "Gospel preached to whole world, and then the end will come" Mt 24:11
  3. What escapes their notice is a long list of other Bible verses that clearly teach that the gospel had been preached before 62 AD, to the whole world.
  4. The fact that Colossians was written in 62AD, 8 years before Jerusalem was destroyed is proof that 70AD was the total fulfillment of the passage!
  5. Take this simple self test and learn the truth that Mt 24:11 was fulfilled before the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD.
  6. Read the verse and notice the way each speaks of the “whole world”
  7. The basic logic is simple: the way you define “the whole world” in Matthew 24:11, you must apply this same definition to the other verses.

  Take the Self-test:

  First Century?	TEXT	Twentieth Century?
  	Col 1:23 “if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister.” (Colossians 1:23)
  	Rom 1:8 “First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, because your faith is being proclaimed throughout the whole world.” (Romans 1:8)
  	Acts 17:6 “When they did not find them, they began dragging Jason and some brethren before the city authorities, shouting, “These men who have upset the world have come here also” (Acts 17:6)
  	Col 1:6 “which has come to you, just as in all the world also it is constantly bearing fruit and increasing, even as it has been doing in you also since the day you heard of it and understood the grace of God in truth” (Colossians 1:6)
  	Acts 2:5 “Now there were Jews living in Jerusalem, devout men from every nation under heaven.” (Acts 2:5)
  	Mt 24:14 “This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:14)

  Conclusion:

  1. There is no reason why Matthew 24 cannot be fulfilled in total because of mt 24:11.

  2. The phrases are identical, the fulfillment obvious:

  a. “This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:14)

  b. “the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister.” (Colossians 1:23)

  c. “your faith is being proclaimed throughout the whole world.” (Romans 1:8)

  3. Rapture advocates generally are not influenced by what the Bible says, but the honest seeker can see the truth.

  1. This truth doesn't make exciting Religious TV preacher programming, complete with news clippings and “the end is near” hysteria, but it is the truth!
