i am asking this question because jehovah's witnesses claim they have "the best way of life", "god's blessing", "the truth" and are trying to change the habits of healthy people by turning them in to their own makings.
i watched people who were great athletes turn all their muscle in to fat because we would get a elder or circuit overseer make remarks they were spending too much time "working out" and "bodily training is beneficial for little".

So back to one of the original ideas of the thread, do you think people should listen to a 340 lb Elder riding on scooter, someone so fat he has to sit on a chair to give a public talk? Do they have any business proclaiming "Watch Out!" and "Were so close to a Paradise Earth where everyone will have lots of Good food, nobody will be starving" apparently he's not starving, needs to find another approach to preach, the "lots of good food line" might work with a starving Somalian? Why listen to a group of sick peope, looking at their bodies it's obvious they are suffering from depression and have no business judging other people's views. Why would someone who is healthy both physically and mentally wish to involved themselves with a group sick fat people telling them "your doing everything wrong and if you don't change, you will die at Doomsday!" They have no right telling productive healthy citizens "We have the answers to all your problems" if a person is using logic, they would look at who is talking to them and ask "if the Watchtower and JW.ORG have all the answers, why are you so screwed up?' JWs use to be so tactless, maybe it's time to give them a taste of their own medicine.
What business do messed up Cult followers have coming to the doors of sucessful people trying to ruin their mental and physical health with their Cult? If "the Message is in the messanger", would you invite someone coughing and spitting up blood in your house if there is a Ebola outbreak taking place? JWs have a history of sickly doctrines, broken families and relying off the Government because they did not plan for their future, the Watchtower is in charge of their minds. The rank-and-file are the output of the Governing Body, they are the proverbial "Canary in the Coal Mine" and their not looking so good! The fact is that most JWs don't care about their bodies and attack smart members who give a dam about their health. Also, I noticed in the last decade there are many who are too lazy to prepare fresh foods, they are too busy doing nothing, popping pills and eating processed foods because "Jesus said not to spend to much time on food preparation unless your CO has special diet needs!"
Our food supply is making us sick, it's been traced since the introduction of corn-syrup in everything, we have slowly been packing on weight with each new generation and scientist say this generation of kids is going to be the most unhealthy ever. The COBE is a sick person, he use to love to talk dirty to women in the car group, his wife never had the courage to stop his perverted mouth!

We just had the "Super Moon", Blood Moon, Blue Moons and soon the Harvest Moon, Lunar Eclipse, Halley's Comet happen but nothing happened, why? You remember making fun of people who showed up on the Memorial and to be excoriated by the COs saying "You won't be saved attending one Meeting a year!".
They have the same selfish motive of the Isrealites and Vast Company of Mixed Crowd that eventually got killed off before their grandchildren inherited the Promise Land. If the religion taught by the Watchtower is true, all people who practice the love Jesus Christ taught are all going to die!

There was a huge scandal near Santa Cruz, California. I don't know how many kids were involved in that mess, I heard it was very large and anyone who talked about it was told "you will get disfellowshiped" according to a elder who left the area because his kid was molested by a twenty year old JW kid. He said there was a large sex exchange, both boys and girls were involved in this pedophile ring. This happened around 1986, I was not there but this brother was and he eventually left the Organization because he saw one of the kids involved in the pedophile Ring giving a part at the District Assembly ten years later.

Daily we read about suicide bombers hurting innocent people in the Middle East who are trained by professionals. Now what if a crazy group of JWs broke away from the Organization and started using Suicide Bombers to hunt down the Governing Body because they believed it was Jehovah's Will to punish them for false prophecy and joining the Wild Beast (United Nations)? What if some of the break-away group began to target other high ranking JWs the way ISIS and ISIL are? Would JWs think this was their test from Jehovah or would the Governing Body avoid all public engagements and hide in fear and try to make peace with a group that put a Fatiwah on all the leadership and company men?
Iraiqis, Coptic Christians and Alexandrian Christians are battling suicide bombers by radicals, what if the Governing Body and High Ranking JWs had to deal with the threats of JW Terrorist (they believed they were the true Slave), would they continue to preach or become scared little men hiding at Patterson allowing JWs to protect them with assualt rifles and would all talks by them be done by Video conferences?
Are the GB as brave and bold as they claim or would they cower in their ivory towers and concede to all the demands of a highly trained JW Break-Away Terrorist Group. The GB tell their members not to fear death but I have a feeling they would quickly change their methods to make peace with well trained JW Militia. We all have seen things we thought were not posible in our lifetime, I think the GB would cower because they are not ready to lay down their lives and leave their luxurious lifes here, do you?

I know there were many allegations of sexual abuse of children, off hand I can count five different families who came and left our Kingdom Hall when I was a kid. Nothing was ever said, the Foster System took these kids in and no JW was ever disfellowshiped. I was too young to understand, so I do believe there is a Secret Pedophile List the Watchtower holds and I believe the Watchtower never gave a Rat's Ass about the Welfare of kids until the lawsuits started hammering their financial doors. If the Statue of Limitations were moved to 55 years old, this Organization would go Bankrupt!

There are mothers who knew their kids were being sexually abused but feared for their own economic safety so they allowed their kids to suffer because the mother wanted to keep her lifestyle.
If you saw how many of the pedophile judicial commites were handled like no big deal, how they were like a hand slappings in the 1980s you might never allow a JW near your house! JW Elders and the Watchtower Society had no idea how to handle child-sex abuse and it's only been in recent times with Million-Dollar Lawsuits they changed their methods of how to handle sex abuse. I had a older psychiatrist in his 90s tell me that before the 1970s movement, Child Exploitation, Incest, Sexual Abuse by Fathers to their daughters, Mothers to their sons happened a lot, it was the dirty secret nobody talked about and you had to get over it or not survive."
Ok, "It's a recent phenomena" I was told. Society does not know how to address it so they use to make light of the real problems of sexual abuse. When you were a kid, if your old enough, you might remember all the jokes about incest and certain States of the USA. Was it a way of covering up a problem not realizing some of our classmates were victims of sexual abuse? I was in Seventh Grade when I first was told about a JW man who was raping his two adopted daughters. My mother called the police and they were put in the Foster Care system, their mother did not care she lost her two daughters. In Eight Grade, there was a girl who was sexually active, she was abused by her biological father. I felt bad for her because she was having sex with older guys so she could live in their apartment, anywhere but her own house.
Now looking back, thinking about the insulting jokes once told by young stupid kids "What do you call a girl who can out run her older brothers in Alabama? A Virgin!" I realize abuse was more frequenty than I was aware of, I had no idea of the pain and suffering many girls and boys were dealing with. My mother and her mother was abused, I did not learn about it until recently, I did not know it because she gave no hints of anything ever happening. When JWs say the World is getting worse, I look out how much action people are taking to stop the abuse against children and shake my head at them.
How many JWs do you think would hide Brother C. Mclean if they had to? JWs are weird, most of you who have been out of the Organization for ten or more years might be surprised that JWs activily socialize with Pedophiles. The Pedophile I speak of, his niece knows he had problems with abusing children and left her girls for him to watch with his wife, others know he has problems but share the Love Feast with him.

Mum, there's a pedopohile and his wife has ignored his daughter's severe depression, failed suicide attempts and knows he was removed for sexually abusing little girls. She's angry he lost his position as elder, so is his sister, they have done their best to discredit the victims even though he confessed to all the allegations. What kind of world do we live in, it's never crossed his wife's mind the reason his younger daughter is a lesbian and hates men and his older daughter (the first one he had while he was still having sex with children) is so screwed up is she might have been abused
I think his wife has no emotions, the pedophile blame's his lesbian daughter for her own demise and now takes his other daughter's girls swimming so he can watch these two tweens in bathing suits. He's a good man, right, his daughters problems are not because they might have been abused? The oldest daughter is really sick, suffers from terrible depression and debilitating anxiety. Do you think the pedophile can change, if his two daughters are screwed up from a JW perspective, is it posible he might have hurt his own girls?

jnat, he was nasty when he lost his weight the first ten times, he hated being around fat people even though his entire family suffers from obesity. His harshness and brutal comments made many lowly people cry, I heard him tell others asking for advice "Why don't you get your jaw wired shut?" or "you need to have self control and exercise", he did not excercise one bit, all his weight loss was from weight loss drugs and once he quit, the weight came right back. He use to tell other Witnesses impressed with his success, "I walk ten miles a day", bullshit! That asshole has problems walking around the corner without getting scared he's having a heart-attack or claims his back is too bad to walk".
How do I know his weight, he wanted wanted to learn how to excersise, he insisted I get on the scale at the gym. I said "if you do, I will." He climbed up on the scale, he weighed 340lbs, I hit 285lb, that's how I know. People are strange, first thing he wanted to do was bench press, he puts on three forty-five lb plates on each side of the bar and get's stuck. Maybe in High School when he played football or when he was in his twenties he could bench 315. The fact is I almost blew my back out trying to pull the dam bar off his chest because he was so out of touch with his body and what he was capable of doing. I think he quit the gym because his muscles were sore the next day and the pain was too much.
His weight training lasted one week, I warned him not to buy a year's membership but he could not justify paying $65 a month when a year's membership costed $300.00. Gym owners know people don't like to pay $10 a day or $65 a month when it's so much cheaper to pay $300, why thats half price!
We have a large number of JWs who claim they were exposed to the Ebsten-Barr Virus and that's why they have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, some blame their lack of energy on the Swine Flu Vaccination. We have lots of issues with our brothers and sisters, CFS, GAD, Thyroid, MS, Lupus, IBS, Chrone's Disease, use of opiods and benzos.
DNCMS and others have attested to what I said, people claim you are robbing from Jehovah or Theocratic activities if you are taking care of your body. Have you heard brothers and sisters who work out and are really built get accused of self-idolatry? The Friends have enough problems, why kill something they enjoy and makes them healthy? I think people get jealous they don't have the will power to work out like other JWs and Ex JWs that had to work hard, endure lots of muscle pain, lactic acid build ups to get in shape.
Ok, we had a Lifer Ministerial Servant because the CO accused him of the Adonis Complex. C.O. had no problem spending a few days each week playing golf on the brothers dime, yet he kept a brother who knew the Bible a Minsterial Servant and that label has stuck to this day, that's brother Adonis!
