I hope they are not kicked out of the Organization for reporting the crimes of a Pedophile. Lately in my last Congregation Pedophiles are more popular than regular JWs, it's all about who is able to donate the most cash to keep the Watchtower happy!

I wish these two boys the best, the lawyers they chose don't take any old case, Balaam I can assure you if these cases did not have the Watchtower's Cover-Up all over them, those lawyers never would have taken the case. I know several JWs that called Rick Simmon's and he told them they were out of luck! Let's hope these boys get justice and the Watchtower is punished for the Right Reasons, not out of our anger but because they deserve getting slammed for $20 Million for each victim!

Min, in "ISOCF" did Ray Franz jr cover this topic? Rutherford made a deal with Colonial Countries in Islamic Countries, Right? Watchtower promised to only bash Catholics, Christians and other Non-Islamic Religions because they are so courageous! Did you get the same drift from Ray Franz's exposure of this Cults Cowardice?

Steve, you know what happened to JWs in Poland (all Eastern Block and Greece) The Orthodox Church Countries Right? What's the difference, JW History claims JWs were killed by Orthodox and Catholic Mobs for bashing their religion, why be soft on Islam? The Watchtower sent the German Witnessses to the Death Camps, Russian Witnesses to the Gulag, Chinese to Work Camp-Re-Education-Jail, so why be soft on Islam? Maybe the Watchtower can appeal to God to stop all the violence since God is speaking through them, right?

Blondie, that's true! The Watchtower feels all Christians are under greater obligation to tell the truth, be honest with teachings and avoid False Prophecy. Will the Watchtower start attacking itself for it's wrong teachings and false prophecies? Good point Blondie, the Watchtower Readers are very Passive, taking the time to understand what the Authors of these articles are saying would cause many thinking JWs to short-circuit because the Watchtower is guilty of Killing in a Spiritual Sense many innocent Witnesses and Ex Witnesses.

it is just plain creepy.. the article is called "keys to a happy life".... but the looks on the faces say something different!

How can you be happy when you attend Meetings filled with unhappy people? They are going to quote outside sources because they have no inductive or reliable sources from JWs that demonstrate how "you can be happy". One of the sisters was a JW counselor, before she died I was with another brother reading scriptures to her, she said "Why are so many Witnesses miserable, why don't any of them know how to find joy? I am sad I am going to die because there is so much work to do! I feel like all my patients will die without me!"

She was one of the only therapist the Elders did not frown upon in the 1970s-1980s because she was so pro-JW and Die-Hard Watchtower. She worked as a trained therapist for almost seventy years and she worried about "all the miserble JWs", so I ask you, how can the Watchtower speak about Happiness?

i have written before about my jw friend that plays hookie with me on sundays.

we skip the meeting and go straight to lunch and margaritas.

she converted later in life and has been a jw for over 25 years.. she is in her late 70's and has had heart problems.

Before I stopped attending Meetings, I was confused why so many of the friends suffered from anxiety, depression and panic attacks just thinking about attending the Kingdom Hall. What is it about Meetings that are causing havoc with our body and minds I wondered? One young sister said "I don't have these problems when I go to work, it's only when I attend the Kingdom Hall or force this religion down other's throats", there is a vast multitude of brothers and sisters that feel so deathly ill on Meeting Days that they end up nauseous all day with heart palpitations just thinking about attending the Kingdom Hall, why do Meetings make them anxious? Meetings are suppose to be refreshing, filled with spiritual nourishment so why do so many of the Friends get sick?

All age groups suffer, when kids in their late twenties and early thirties told me they hated attending meetings("wanted to be safe at home out of people's glaring eyes") because they hate how they feel, I tried all I could to understand what is making them feel so toxic inside? Here's my guess, like the sister's post above and her friend that get's anxious attending meetings, I have opinions why.

1. The people at the Kingdom Hall really don't care for others but this is not the big issue.

2. Brothers and Sisters are tired of being told "Your not doing enough" not directly but through sneaky stories of the One-Leg-One-Arm-One-Eyed Pioneer who work's part-time and gets Seventy Hours in Creative Field Service and does everything your not doing.

3. The World is exhausting to JWs who think it's going to end soon yet all the proof is to the contrary, JWs know things are not as bad as the Watchtower say's and they get sick of hearing this at Meetings.

4. Some JWs feel sick and guilty because they don't believe what the Governing Body and Watchtower Writing Department is teaching, they feel like hipocrites telling people to read magazines and books they themselves have never opened.

Sister COBE said “I think your husband might be gas-lighting you and putting lead, mercury or possibly some of his raw materials in your food and coffee!”

That woman had a forty-year old girl in a state of panic, thought it was funny as Hell. Poor girl went to college, got her degree and never used it in working environment because her motivation was to see if her husband was trying to kill her. This is nothing, the stories and shit I’ve heard and seen, heart wrenching stories poured out by the brothers and sisters because they think we are psychologist, sex therapist or regular Shrinks is crazy!

Why did I allow it to happen, I thought the Organization was true, I was stupid to think someone had my best interests at heart. I fell hook-line and sinker for the biggest con-job ever! If you were a Elder you would realize the shit we had to listen to, the petty squables and mind-boggling revelations people share about their lives, if only you heard what we had to listen to. What happened to me is of no account, as long as someone on JWN is allowed to avoid my past stupid errors and my inability to go Postal on wicked men it's worth sharing don't you think Cheese? I thought the reason for JWN is to help others avoid the stupid shitty errors we made and by sharing the real truth and how the Organization measures each person, we might just save on JWN member from suffering the pain we endured.

Yadda, I am not going to attend any more Kingdom Hall Meetings, it don't matter because we were never important to a Organization that is more focused on finding New Converts while allowing the old faithful members to fade or walk away from us!

I am sorry I got snippy and realize you are all very smart to question everything anyone say's here, it's frustrating because we have members on JWN with stories who won't post because nobody will believe it ever took place. Never hurts to be skeptical like many JWN members are, it's a good skeptical nature that prevents you from getting hit by con men or con women. Thank you for your advice, we have so many good people here!

JWs believe it's more important to keep the name of the Watchtower Shining and will allow 99 sheep to go missing because keeping the lie going is of total importance!

You can't report anything to the Elder Body, this man has control of the entire Elder Body. I watched the entire Body of Elders (except his three men) leave the Kingdom Hall ("We hate the Fat Bastard!") or create stories why they had to leave quickly (The Circuit Overseer wants us to move and help this congregation over there!) over a two year period while this fat slob screwed anyone who dare challenge "the angel of Pergamum" a sixth-grade drop out who think's he's a god. When Evil donates time, money and construction skills the Watchtower does not check their donations for blood, as long as it's spendable they accept it. Ray Franz wrote ISOCF "men who donated large amounts of cash were able to talk about things ordinary JWs could never speak about. The wealthy donations allowed these men closeness with the Big Bosses and they even could mention problems they had with Watchtower Doctrine and Policy, though once they stop handing out Green Backs, their Freedom of Speech Ended!"

Too many brothers and sisters have experienced this or far worse, I was told "all the stories Ray Franz wrote were bullshit" by some Pro JWs Faders, even with all evidence he was right, they were like Agent Moulder on X-Files "I want to belive the Watchtower is true, oh how bad I do!" Well, I am not sorry I am sharing what happened, I don't care if it burst's the bubbles of people who don't know how the inner working of the Elder Bodies are, you have no idea how many scandals exists, I heard people lie about Candy after she won her lawsuit, Witnesses called her a liar and worse, weird how that goes, people can't get this Cult out of their blood, very sad the Watchtower still holds their hearts so close.

i am asking this question because jehovah's witnesses claim they have "the best way of life", "god's blessing", "the truth" and are trying to change the habits of healthy people by turning them in to their own makings.

i watched people who were great athletes turn all their muscle in to fat because we would get a elder or circuit overseer make remarks they were spending too much time "working out" and "bodily training is beneficial for little".

We got called into the dreaded back room after meeting to find two elders wanting to discuss a 'serious' matter with us. They said we had been seen associating with a DF'd member of the hall. We completely denied it, not having even seen that person recently, but having heard they moved into a house two streets away. We said no, absolutely not. We pushed back but they kept shaking their heads and telling us of the seriousness of it and how we could be subject to strong counsel if we don't stay away. Finally we asked who made the charge. A certain elder was named. We asked if such a helpful elder could give times or dates of what he claims to have seen. They said no. We said ask him right now.

So they went and got the elder and brought him in with us. He was VERY uncomfortable to be there. We were angry. We asked for a reason why he made an accusation. He said that the DF'd family had moved near us. We were in disbelief, did that mean we were associating with them? He said no, but it COULD happen. He said it would be terrible IF it happened and was SOMETHING that MIGHT come up. He totally admitted that he knew of no specific dates or times.

So the big shocker wasn't just this mouthy asshole lying, but what the two elders did next. They COMPLIMENTED him on showing concern for our family, and asked if we agreed that it was VERY HELPFUL and THOUGHTFUL for him to worry about us. They then counseled us for getting heated up about such evidence of fine spiritual shepherding on his part. Because, yeah, we were mad. He lied, slandered us, admitted it, and we're the bad guys for calling him on it. Then they said a prayer, again praising Mr. Liar and praying that we not be offended by loving counsel but consider it a growing potential.
