The one time Watchtower was right.
jehovah witnesses are hypocrites and false prophets who are conning themselves.
jehovah’s witnesses, a christian denomination/cult known for their distinct beliefs and practices, have long faced scrutiny and criticism.
while they present themselves as a cohesive and morally stringent group, numerous inconsistencies and instances of hypocrisy have been noted both by outsiders and former members.
The one time Watchtower was right.
let's mine for the next gb update!
it isn't yet on the servers, however the code 1112024014 is to be used for august.
it should be out publicly on the borg website tomorrow.
LIKE XS 10 Stephane!! lol. :) "To be fair, that's not such a bad advice for most of them: A lot of people have a political opinion and shouldn't. That's the reason why we have so many stupid exchanges on the news and social forums."
ok i just want to officially set the record straight about the report of csa in new zealand.
i have a pimo relative who lives in nz.
as far as public awareness, with regard to the jws, it was basically a big nothing burger.
Joe, JWs have the next to lowest income levels per PEW. Lowest education levels as well. Few do much reading outside of Watchtower fluff. Reading the real news is uncomfortable for JWs...it simply creates more "cognitive dissonance"...it's easier to dream of petting lions and panda bears any day now. :( Sadly, few people in general read serious news, so what your relative reports back makes sense. Per google :" In 2022, 12% of the US population read newspapers daily for their news. This is down from 2021, when 124 million US adults read newspapers weekly. However, some say that newspapers still have a large and loyal readership. For example, 58% of adults aged 18–34 and more than 60% of adults aged 35 and older read newspapers. Households with incomes over $100,000 are also more likely to read newspapers, with 70% of them doing so." :(
"According to Pew Research Center's 2016 Religious Landscape Study, 4% of Jehovah's Witnesses have low household incomes, and nearly half of all members have incomes of less than $30,000 per year. The study also provides a breakdown of Jehovah's Witness household incomes by percentage, as shown in the table below:
serena william's thanks jehovah god for allowing her to participate in sports.
how nice.
my jw parents followed the rules and thought they were doing jehovahs will by denying me participation in sports.
Well...I guess Jehovah "blessed her" with a gold medal, a baby out of wed-lock, and a billionaire "worldly" husband. A good example for good JW girls! :)

I remember getting held up by fellow students for NOT standing for the national anthem at school.

*w60 2/1 80 - 17 there may be rare instances where a child is so hardened in its stubbornness that even the rod of correction cannot drive it out.
in the days of israel parents were instructed by jehovah to take such a rebel to the city fathers and they, in turn, took the incorrigible one out and stoned him to death.
there were no juvenile delinquents under such a system.
Well that California Elder is long dead. He worked till almost his death in his late 70s. His widow cleaned houses until her late 70s. They were both alcoholic back biters. Half their kids grew up hating JWs and them. I grew to sincerely regret ever voting to appoint him an elder. Total train wreck family.
That poor girl was very damaged. She would be in her 40s now.
(can't insert edit in title husband a jw?).
i just read that serena said both of them were jws.
but this wouldn't be the first time means 1) supports her beliefs and does them 2) supports her beliefs and doesn't interfered with but no where does it say he is a baptized witness.
She didn't have a pair of slacks!

I vividly remember a JW Elder proudly tell me they kicked their 15 yr old daughter out of the home. Whaaaaattt???!!!! That is child abuse. I was flabbergasted.
i read something recently on reddit (not sure what thread) where a person related how some jw told them that ‘they hold a grudge’.. this reminded me of something an old jw acquaintance said to me some years back when i related my bad experience in the religion.. so, apparently, jehovah’s witnesses feel they should be forgiven for anything.
people should forget all about it and act like nothing happened and be charitable towards them, etc… when i read in james and ephesians i got the sense ‘holding a grudge’ was referring to the things average people do to offend each other.. i don’t see it applying to a religion that claimed to speak for god and who engendered hateful and unchristian attitudes towards people.. i know because i experienced this.. in addition, some people’s lives were damaged by listening to faulty teachings and interference in things that were clearly none of anybody’s business.. one case in point: them knocking worldly careers and now there are thousands of destitute jws in senior years with nothing.. then in 2023 the religion does away with a century old teaching about counting hours in the ministry.
meanwhile, i got judged over this.
I CHOOSE not to work for big tobacco corporations, the MAFIA, or associate with known child rapists, bank robbers, or other criminals. I CHOOSE to not have habitual liars as friends. Someone who supports or assists in committing crimes is no better than the criminal....a co-conspirator.
Watchtower is complicit in aiding and protecting criminals and is a habitual liar. I choose not to associate with people or entities like this...or to keep "touching the unclean thing". They keep lying and breaking the law...it has nothing to do with forgiveness.
