basics-for-me:
My initial thoughts on this subject is: Why do you feel the need to be part of a "congregation"? Do you feel that this is absolutely neccessary?
Need-no not really just wondering what it would be like to go to a meeting at one of these congregations. They would prob. toss me out the first time-with that said, I still would like to go- if not only to "just go". Neccessary-no, once again Just wondering what it is like.

Why Do People Try To Defend The Watchtower or JW's In General?
by minimus incan anyone explain this to me?
-

Why do most people defend anything? I would say it's one of two things: a. they believe it is the truth or b. fear of God.

Personally I feel that when someone is angry and they spout off angry feelings and thougts about you it's how they really feel deep down inside. Terrible huh? Most of the time they will try to make it right by saying they were just upset at the time an they never meant that... LOL
NOT TRUE ... they meant it

Thunder
Sometimes I wonder what i am fighting for and I take a long hard look at my child. I am a total fighter hon, that's why I THINK my life is "upset" to most. Maybe the wicked aren't so wicked-BUT just living. The right way? Humm... probably the right way is what ever makes you happy :) Don't worry, be happy
I feel that way every day. Thunder versus the powers that be. Why?? I think I fight things because I need to understand why there is injustice. I need to be shown why the wicked seem to "have it all" while "good" people struggle to just get by. I want to find and know the right way to live and show others. I will never yeild to complacancy and laziness. Knowing now that my time on this rock in finite, I strive to make the most of the time I have. I fight for me and mine, family and friends.
Know what though??? It doesn't seem a chore to me. I enjoy the fight, I live for the day and in hopes that the fight will go on for a long time cause when its over its over, you're dead, and that's gonna suck.

Bizarro things the person with whom you studied told you
by berylblue in"traditionally, women in japan were to walk 10 paces behind a man.
that is much more appropriate than what is going on here, what with women thinking they are men's equals.".

When I study with cute men I tell them that they need to remove their trousers before we begin. They must be early like Christ.
