My Cake is Doughy in the Middle

i am trying to help my wife out by baking a pound cake.

i volunteered after going over the recipe.

actually it seemed simple enough and i thought it would be a snap to do.. i was wrong.. the problem is it looks fine in the oven.

Pre-heat oven, I would go for 180-200 on the dial

Grease pan (butter rubbed round edge)

Bake in middle of oven

Do not keep opening door to take a sneeky look at your prize winning cake

Use a knitting needle to test if centre is cooked

Remove from oven and place and wire cool down tray

Make icing decorate and eat with a big grin on yer face

Thanks for the heads up on this. I just know my folks are going to lap this up and get more depressed that I don't go. But to say I have turned my back on Jah is nonsense, it is that sick, twisted, cultish pile of sh*te I have turned my back on and they still come out with crap like this and dubs still buy it

Why did you choose your USER NAME?

i think some people actually use part of their real name.

i chose mine because i really feel 'in between', in that space where your not a jw anymore but really haven't figured out where you are in life and what path you want to take.

just thought it would be an interesting topic.

I picked mine cause I like Roman things and as my first time on a forum thingy I thought it would work no real reason. Well I think it sounds a strong name as well and I am becoming stronger as time goes on being able to think for myself more

One of the most irritating things you can say to a Witness?

my relatives that are still witnesses, always hate it when i say one thing to them, more then any others ... .

"are you going to church tonight?

"were you at church?".

I could never understand the whole anti-church thing, weird

I used to get called Hovis as it sounded like jehovis witness I preferred that to the real thing

Wishing luck was out as stated earlier and even if you said "man he was fortunate not to get run over" they would say you can't use the word fortunate as it's the same as lucky, WTF go and get a life you sad freak!!!

See what you've done bringing it all back and making me angry

i auxilary pioneered for a year, then i regular pioneered for 2 years while serving as a ministerial servant.

then i served at bethel for 3 years.

while at bethel i worked harder then i have my hole life.

At the '69 International my folks took me down to Wembley Stadium in England but at the hotel they had no cots so I slept in a drawer how bad is that?? Ok I was 6 months but even still a drawer, jeez!!

A few things struck me about this one being lack of time people had to look at the scriptures he was quoting so off hand, surely something as important as this would be taken more seriously.

Also that is some speech impediment old Wille the Whistler had. It sounded like he was reading from a script as well so I guess everyone will get the same p*sh read out
