  School for Congregation Elders

  i attended the school late last year, and it was an emotional and mental rollercoaster for me.

  i was already divided in my heart to say the least.

  one of the instructors stayed in my home for the week, and my family genuinely enjoyed his company.

  I LOVE "Homeland".. also you might want to try 'Justified". My hubby and I lived on a farm in KY for 7 years. Watching 'Justified' was like watching a movie about the area in which we lived. Crazy!

  millions have died in africa from civil wars where the governments have squandered money on bombs guns and tanks, whilst allowing millions more to die of malaria, diarrhoea and other treatable diseases.

  thousands more have died in nigeria from religious killing than ebola.. and now big bad america is the one they all turn to (in mainly muslim countries) to save them, just like kuwait did in 1991.

  I do not understand why JW missionaries are being sent to Africa....or if they are already there, why aren't they quarantined and then sent home. With the international conventions and African delegates traveling from Africa to Europe and USA and back again, it would only take one person to spread the Ebola virus, or any virus to thousands of people... I hope I don't know what I am talking about.

  I appreciate your post. I was df'd 17 years ago, and have been treated horribly by the Elders since that time. I'm not going into the story here, but it hasn't been easy for me. I love the Bible and have tried to live a good life, I study, go to meetings, or listen on the phone tie-in, have never missed a memorial. I don't drink, swear, and I am not immoral and I do believe that there are some beautiful, sincere and loving people in the KH. I also believe that some of the most wicked people are in the KH. I have learned some lessons, that might help you. 1. If you want to believe, believe, don't let anyone keep you from your beliefs. 2. Don't trust anyone inside the KH, I'm sorry, but you can't, because it will backfire on you, especially now, with the paranoia being spread via the WT. 3. Don't judge anyone, inside or outside. 4. As far as homosexuality is concerned, leave them to their chosen lifestyle. They should have all of the rights the rest of humanity is given, and that includes not being judged or criticised Remember, Jehovah said to love all people, regardless of race, creed, whatever. 5. Remember that you are a JW because of Jehovah and Jesus Christ, NOT for the elder-worship, or GB-worship. 6. Do NOT let some of the policies deter you from being a loving, caring human being. 7. BE happy, do some of the things that this beautiful earth has to offer you....get a hobby, read about things you are interested in, take a class, spend time with friends. Do something that gives you joy. And remember these are jut weak people, trying to fit in. Be kind. Eventually, it will all work out, and you will decide what is best for you. Peace.

  a jehovah's witness elder who was exposed as a paedophile on facebook has been jailed.. jonathan rose was branded a hypocrite as he was locked up for molesting two little girls he met through the church.. manchester crown court heard that rose, of new moston , won the trust of his victims families before targeting their daughters.

  I am sooooooooooo sick and tired of this statement. "We wouldn't/don't want to bring reproach upon Jehovah's name." This statement is used to cover up every crime commited at the KH. I have heard this statement for decades, and I am sick of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When are the Witnesses going to start handing these pigs over to the cops???? You know who I admire???? John Walsh. He calls it like it is.. PERVS! My husband says that the pervs have safe haven at the KH so they flock there because they know nothing will happen to them. (I"m a JW, and he's not baptised, but calls himself a JW). AND I know for a fact that some of these creeps are still running around, because the Elder that molested my sons (17 years ago) is and Elder now, and has been for many years. It is ALWAYS the victims who pay for these sickos' crimes.
