  Was I perfect? NO. Was I treated like a piece of meat? hell Yes! I was the type that was you could say was very developed...I use to get all the looks from the young dubs and the married ones.....I also got the "look" from there married wifes.You know,the one that could kill if you turned your back and they would not think about stabbing you! I was just a very over developed young teenager..My parents even had a brother come to the house in regaurds to me "stuffing" myself...This was not true at all..I was totally humiliated...

  Advice needed for a friend who has cancer.......what can I do to help her??

  i just found out a friend i have know for 2 years,,,,,,,has cancer in a lymp node under her arm pit.

  her blood work came back , with spots in it she said, and irregular.

  she had breast cancer a year ago and some lumps were taken out,,,,,,,,,she was supposed to be well .. she told me not to cry when she told me the news, and i tried to swollow back the lump , it was on the phone so i could do it not seeing her face.

  all you can do is "Listen" ...That has been my experience in the past with very sick friends.....Just by you being there for her is the best you can do.....When she needs to be held,Hold her,..When she wants to cry, Wipe her tears,..When she wants you there, be there for her.........I am soooo sorry for your pain, Just be her best friend you can be....sorry I cant give you any more advice.....be strong for her..I'm thinking about you..

  i had my credit cards stolen and all my cash out of my purse......i was going to my girlfriends house to pick her up to go birthday shopping for my son...i pulled into her laneway,ran into get her and left my van unlocked and running.

  The police were just here again.....They tryed to use the other cards! This time a camera was in place..........Have to go hubby is on a rampage to KILL them.........If he gets hold of them,who knows what will happen.........

  I personally myself,did not enjoy any of the Matrix movies....Even though we own them on dvd...My hubby and kids are big fans of the Matrix.....I just dont have patients to watch a movies 10 times to get the just of it......Me,I'm a chick flick gal when it comes to movies.....anything sappy, I love......Glad you enjoyed it though sns.........

  Thanks guys for all your support..........

  I am going to check the pawn shops in the city tomorrow,but because we are in hockey city,My guess is that they sold it privately....his skates a lone were worth 350.00 dollars....Just bought him his new gear this year,because he grew so much over the summer.....Yes it is my invassion of privacy that errks me the most...They did not get his stick though...It was worth 180.00....I am going to the local bank tomorrow to has well becuase my girlfriend lived near it and they have a survalence camera....If any luck they might have the jerks on camera....Just found out today,that they did try to use my credit card......it came in as stolen, when the store clerk took to long with it, they ran...there was no camera there but they got a describtion of them....(there was 2 of them)...I am just fed up with crime anymore...I found the cops not supportive at all..basically gave me shit for leaving my van opened and running....and because of this I might not have a claim with my insurance company...they chalked it up to being my own falt....does anyone know what my rights are in this matter? I am going to insurance in the morning and need some help on this one......thanks everyone.........crying the blues...I feel sorry the most for my son,as he cannot play till we get him new equipment AGAIN..

  God what I would do for a smoke right now! You see my afternoon started off ok until.........

  I had my credit cards stolen and all my cash out of my purse......I was going to my girlfriends house to pick her up to go birthday shopping for my son...I pulled into her laneway,ran into get her and left my van unlocked and running.(thinking I would be 15 seconds)When I got there her child had hurt himself so she was panicing.I got her calmed down and got her son all cleaned up...After this event I had forgotten that my van was still running(15-20 mins)He turned out to need a couple of stitches in his chin...We then left the hospital to go home.I stopped to get gas,pumped it,then went to pay....Was I ever pissed to relise I was ripped off....they never got to far with my credit cards, but got 200.00 bucks from me.After looking around inside my van,I also relised they took my sons hockey equipment....It just burns my ass,that people can do this in broad day light with the van running,knowing that somebody cant be to far away,and go into someones purse and take their hard earned money!..My poor son missed his hockey game as well due to the fact,that he had nothing to wear for the game....Yes I called the cops....There response was, I dont think you will get anything back,but we will make a report so you can put an insurance claim in,but you will have to pay the deductable....well thanks for coming out jerks! Sorry for venting,but I am so pissed about the whole thing! Where the hell is justice when your a victim?Why the hell should I pay for it? and my son for that matter......

  My Girlfriend's a JW, but I am not, What to do???

  just wondering if anyone can help, so heres a little insight into the situation.. we've been friens for ages but she always told me we could be nothing more she said "theres stuff you dont know about me & you wouldnt understand" but one night i kinda hinted that i knew and she fessed up not only bout being a jw but also bout how she felt only thing is she says its not gonna work, but she wants it to work she wants me to convert and i want her to leave the orgainization.

  her mothers been a witness for ten years but her father is not.

  also she hasnt paid much attention to it either till a few months ago and shes starting to get into it now.

  Get the hell out of dodge!...Sorry,but I dont want you to end up being one of our many posters,that want out sooooo bad...but just dont know how to get out.....there is a million other fish out there not connected to a cult....you will find that special person that your looking for....having anything to do with the jws with make your life hell....hoping you make the right move.....
