I can't sleep without reading first. I can't just go to sleep. I have a ritual every night.
I eat ice cubes
While I love chocolate, I hate chocolate ice cream and pudding.
i, damselfly, can not knowingly eat the little squiggly, umbilical cord things in eggs.
i have to very carefully separate the whites from the yolk and remove the squiggly bits with a knife.
i get gaggy just thinking about them.

thankyou all so much and i think i might be becoming a jwd addict.
i love this board it is so helpful.
I know I was. I know LadyLee really was a big help getting the kids used to things. Oh so many people helped me, reading the posts when I was too tired or worn out to post. Just to read and not feel so alone any more. Pointing me in the right directions. Letting me read, and explore and grow. I love this site.
a frog goes into a bank and approaches the teller.
he can see from her nameplate that her name is patricia whack.
"miss whack, i'd like to get a $30,000 loan to take a holiday.
(You're singing it, aren't you? Yeah, I know you are........)
I read this before I went out tonight. It was stuck in my head all night.
I wonder how many for abortion or at least pro-choice are against the death penalty
What I wonder about, is those who claim to be pro-life, but are for the death penalty.
(I am pro-choice and am not against death penalty.)
this is my first post.
i have read and benefited greatly from all of the posts on the board.
i just wanted to share a little of my story perhaps to gain insight into myself, and perhaps just to share with like minded people.
Welcome coolhandluke. Thank you for sharing your story. This is a great site.
.
i managed to bake bread today and it came out really good.. and i made baklava for the first time and it is sooooooo yummy i will never go to the store and pay for it again.

Mmmmm, fresh bread. I haven't made that in so long. It's not silly, making bread is a great art. Next time, make enough to share. I would love to try some of yours.
and how people would swear that things moved by themselves and hovered around?
well, i wish my stuff was possessed so it would move itself to my new apartment for me.
it's 116 degrees here.
I was always scared as a kid. Always hearing things in our house, even before mom became a witness. Then she got baptized, she started throwing things away to rid the house of them. When we moved, we did a lot of photos, of the attic, basement, empty rooms, and we saw some faces in the pics. I believe there is something there, I just don't think they are all demons, or evil.
As long as we don't have this utopian set of circumstances, abortion should be safe, legal and rare.
I agree. I wish there was never a need for abortion, but as long as there is, I want it safe and legal.
I wish that our children were better education about birth control. Until we find a form of b/c that is 100% effective, idiot proof, non-allergenic, abortions will always be needed.
what were the presents (gifts) other people gave you that you appreciated the most?
My grandfather had moved in with us, and we had to clean out his home. He lived there since 1947. His one neighbor moved in 1952. They were like family. When we, my siblings and I, were little, we lived with our grandparents for five years along with our parents. So the neighbors were like an extra set of grandparents.
No one in the family wanted any of the furniture, so I took it. There was a metal bed that belonged to the neighbor and I was going to give it back. She asked me if I could use it. Here the bed was her Mother-in-law's bed when she was a little girl. She told me I could keep it.
She has her own children, grand children, and great grands, and she let me keep it. We stripped off the coat upon coat of lead paint off of it, and now my daughter has a beautiful bed. I think of Mrs. Ernest every time I tuck my daughter in. She has just passed away, and this gift is more important than one could think.
we just had the biggest thunderstorm pass over us in many years, and the "epicenter", if you can all it that, was right over my house!!!!!!!!.
any minute, i was expecting to get hit in the a$$ with a bolt of lightning, and lose whatever little hair i have left on my head, or anywhere else, for that matter.
so, i think that the safest place to be, is on the toilet.. that way, when a bolt of lightning hits right outside your bathroom window, you will be in the right place when you shit yourself !!
Tires won't protect you from one hundred million to one billion volts. Their steel belted anyway. Safest place is underground surrounded by a gold, silver, or copper grid. Go to center of house away from windows or conductors.
Thank you. We just bought a house, and it is up on a hill. It's the highest point around, and has four lightning rods on the roof. The white flashes we've had, scares the stuffings out of the family. Middle of the night, it still makes the rooms white. I pull the drapes, and unplug everything. Never thought of going into the middle room of the house. Thanks for the info.
