New Anti Gay Cartoon Video not available in German
by Daniel1555 inthe lesson 22 video or better called anti gay video went viral.. there is another thread that main dutch media covered it in their articles.. i wanted to write to one of the biggest swiss newspapers about it.
that newspaper also covered the controversy about the "meeting" cartoon, where the message is made that if jw children don't listen at the meetings they might get killed finally.. then i realized that it is not available in german.. it is available in so many other languages, like guarani (never heard of that language), but german is missing.. are they afraid to offer it in german?
do they expect too much controversy in germany?.

Nothing has really changed, there are no surprises here. Witnesses have always been obsessed about sex one way or another. So the video is no surprise either. Notice how they lump everything on "it's what Jehovah wants" in an attempt to distance themselves from accusations of bigotry. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's hateful but it's certainly manipulative. -

what did they call that?.

A pedal organ in our KH..attendants at assemblies wore a long chevron that stated "attendant" - servants wore one that said "servant" - 3 hour breaks between afternoon and evening sessions - huge cafeteria tents. It goes on and on.

DF'ing was well in vogue by the time I was outed back in the early 70's. It was mainly invoked for sexual offences. Little mention was made back then of apostasy, that didn't figure until the early 80's when Ray Franz got the chop. After that, I was regarded as being a sort of "nice" disfellowshipee because I hadn't been booted for apostasy. To be fair, I hadn't come across the word before the RF saga and assumed it meant that one was pretending to be an apostle. Weird... -

by Londo111 ini applaud anyone, male or female, who overcomes shallowness and looks at a person’s deeper qualities, especially in regard dating and marriage.
the movie and fashion industry does much to institute shallowness to the point that, in my opinion, it promotes outright discrimination and judgmentalism even as they give lip service to tolerance..
on the other hand, among jehovah’s witnesses, there seem to be a preponderance of incompatible marriages.

I married a witness girl. There wasn't much choice of partners back then. It lasted 3 years. She was a pioneer and even travelled to other countries to do "rooming work" for the big conventions. She was also totally insane. She was incredibly violent and I still carry wounds from sharp objects to this day. -
