I predict that if that happens the average dub will only "donate" half as much for the mag rag and at the doors the same thing will happen.
Profits will drop.....Therefore with confidence I predict it's not going to happen soon.

It was black and white and I did not have a single doubt.I walked out of the kingdom hall after a dispute before the meeting with a CO that was visiting. No answers then...or anytime after that except wait on jehovah and obey the FDS....BS... I knew then that they just had garbage to feed.

Never had any cold sweats or regrets when I turned away from this LIE over 22 years ago. I saw them for what they were and this was before the internet existed.
I must say when I got my first computer one of the first things that I searched for was JW's and was amazed at all the truth out there.
I spent many a happy hour on my 28.8 dialup conection finding all the facts and details that I did not know.The internet is the best thing that could happen for persons looking for information.
Even the events of 9/11 did not cause me to think that this could be the big "A" It is hard to believe that is almost 3 years ago. I now believe if there is a god and he does have a plan I will let him (or her) work it out and let me know.
i was going through my things the other day and i came across a journal i used to keep at quite a young age.
the mentality there is just scary.
i was quite the budding writer with my big words but can you see all the canned thoughts and phrases lifted from the dubs and dropped into my grammar and writing style.
Today I wrote Daddy a letter to try and to get him to come to a meeting but he said he couldnt "see" himself coming tonight. I'll try again on Sunday. He kept the letter and I hope he'll change his mind. One part of me hopes and expects him to show up and walk down the aisle to sit with us. All I ask is why me and not some other kid why does it have to be my father!!(
I'm sure you have a much better idea of why I couldn't "see" myself coming back now.I also knew that it would be of no use to try and explain things to you.When I looked into your eyes I saw the eyes of a Dub true believer....Nothing I could have said would have changed you then.
Times change and so do people.By the way I just recently threw away that letter.You have no idea how that letter tore at my heart but now you can see the whole picture and not just the one seen through Dub tinted glasses.
I enjoyed the summer holidays..esp the quality time we spent in the garden taking care of it and weeding it.Oh hang on you might not remember some of those times.
