  Four films worth seeing

  1. "Touching The Void"

  The true story of two mountain climbers that got themselves in one hell of a mess. With almost no provisions left, on the descent thousands of feet up, one of the climbers breaks his leg. His buddy works to help him get down but they got caught in a huge storm. The line is cut and the injured climber falls into a crevasse where he begins his struggle to crawl down the mountain on his own. Based on the book of the same name.

  Sounds good, I read Bear Grills book about his ascent on Everest as the youngest climbr which was amazing,i''d enjoy that film..i'm watching Four weddings and a funeral atm... brit comedy from Richard Curtis stable....... excellent......

  i'm afraid it's gonna have to be more than one........... my babies, sun, and dogs, horses, riding, running, art, hugs, the beach, storms, Byron, Thomas Hardymy adorable friends,pub beer gardens on hot summer nights, music, going fast, my bike, sunsets,watching polo, standing on the beach in a storm in full force:)

  I don;t think i'm scared of anything..and the future certainly dos'nt scare me..love shields from everything-just surround your self with people who love you and life is good :)

  can't get over how good the new jet album get born is...there's a definate t-rex resurrection revival going on here....with a little ac/dc thrown in for good measure ..its awesome...some amazing acoustic guitar based guitar ballads too- a real ecclectic mix that hangs really well together..got to have the headphones on though as its got to be loud..now all i have to do is hope they get better before glastonbury.

  My Rather Large Extremeties Are Becoming A Problem.

  i'm not excessively tall at just over 6 feet.

  however, i must have been first in line when god was dishing out hands, feet and heads.

  to date it hasn't been much of a problem except when i have to travel 25 miles to the nearest shoe shop to get a size 14 (uk).

  So glad you don't have any side effects Eman :) well, apart from the sensitivity to sunlight...my grandfather was huge like you-though he was 6'7'' and always wore a panama hat...he lived near Bath-so maybe theres a specalist shop there...i'll try and find out where his hats were from-or if I still haveone, i'll post it to you.

  Sometimes I Hate Being The Father Of Teenagers . . .

  i am a pretty liberal dad.

  i talk to my kids alot and openly about everything from sex to drugs .

  i always try to give them options and let them make their own decisions .

  What Type Of Jehovah's Witness Were You, REALLY???

  most jws seem to be "devout" in that they go to 5 meetings and out in field service.

  yet, many also lived double lives.

  were you a true-blue jw or were you a faker?

  I was one who did'nt feel I was acceptable enough.I tried so hard and used to berate myself for not being 'perfect'. I would study for the meetings and really look forward to new releases etc.I really wanted to be acceptable to God and thought this was the way I had to do it.

  I went to as many meeting s as I could,putting up with abuse from unbelieving husband and struggling to keep three small children happy there...receiving verbal abuse from witnesses for taing them home when they were bored and fed up and being told I was wrong for not smacking them....

  but and any opposition fro outside the cong. would make me more determined to be the kind of person whod be acceptable to jehovah....I would see things being said or done rongly in the congregation and feel really upset and confused by it.but it took me a long time to realise the elders were fallable like us all and that I was ok, really.

  then I found Simons site and left after becoming very vocal to the elders to make up for lost time and lots of hurt.
