This, dear one, is a blatantly false statement, born of hypocrisy. How so? Well, we COULD ask for a show of hands of folks just on this site who tried to SHARE what they had learned... or be 'given' by the TRUE Light... rather than selfishly keep such 'private'... but were rejected... by the 'scribes and the Pharisees' who themselves 'set law'.
Rather, he has complete confidence in the truth as it is revealed by jehovah God through his Son, Jesus Christ, and "the faithful and discreet slave."
Wow! Did any of you see that? Revealed by 'Jehovah God'... through his Son... AND the FDS. Uhhhh, where was the FDS when John received HIS 'revelation'? I have read and heard of my Father, my Lord... and an angel... but can find NO mention of the WT... OR such 'FDS'. Why? Is the fact that such 'slave' is not even IDENTIFIED until the 'arrival' (parousia)... or RETURN... of my Lord from 'abroad'... BY my Lord? Things that seriously make you go 'hmmm...'

Christ, the Anointed of Jah recieved his kingdom after his resurrection.
True, my Father said unto my Lord, "Sit at my right hand, until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet." And again, "Go subduing in the midst of your ememies."
Notice He does NOT say... "Sit at my right hand, until I 'establish you as king.'But notice what my Lord says:
"All authority has been given unto me in heaven and on earth."
How can he have 'all authority in HEAVEN' and not be a king? only the king would have 'all authority' in a kingdom.
Also: "he (Christ), knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands and that he came forth from God and was going to God..."
hmmm... 'all things.' that would include a kingdom, yes?
"He delivered us from the authority of the darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of his love,"
wow.... he even HAS a kingdom. ;-)
"but we behold the Anointed, who has been made a little lower than the angels, CROWNED with glory and honor for having suffered death."
He is king, right now, and he is ruling... RIGHT NOW, "in the midst of his enemies."
so what is Matthew 19:28 about? “Truly I say to you, In the RE-CREATION, when the Son of man sit down upon his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also yourselves sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel."
When does the son of Man 'sit down' with those who followed him, .. to JUDGE?

My dearest DMan... peace to you!
No, dear one, my Father did not write you off... and although you TRIED, He has not permitted you to blaspheme... at least, not yet - (BIG SMILE! My Lord KNOWS, I was a-prayin'!)
He knows the heart, Daddy-O... and He knows the 'source' of your anger. He has tried SO hard to tell you that, as I have tried SO hard to tell you, as well. He knows YOU... BY NAME... and so He knows the true 'spirit' behind your words: pain. He just wants to help you HEAL the pain, but along with that pain is the barrier of your anger, a 'work' of your flesh, a CURTAIN, that stands between you and Christ, who stands between you and Him.
But... He is patient, D. Truly. I love you, and you KNOW this... because HE loves you. It was Him, through my Lord, that sent me to you... to meet you face-to-face... so I could know the person behind the words... and the anger. And the anger is not 'you', D.; the pain is. And people deal with pain differently. You are dealing with it... in anger.
But, no, my Father still knows you... and in SPITE of that (LOL!)... He still loves you... as do I!
You call me if you need me, DMan... K?

Indeed, DMan, indeed. It is YOUR mind that has convinced you that my Father has cast you off, but in your HEART, you know better. The former is what YOUR Adversary, the Devil, wishes for you to believe. He has taken YOUR anger... at the WTBTS, the 'brothers' (yeah, right), and a few others who I won't mention here... and enticed you to turn it toward God. But you KNOW the Truth, for I have been granted the privilege to tell you about him. It is what your FAITH does for you now that will decide.
The judgmental, seemingly arrogant God of the Hebrew scriptures is not the God I love and trust.

by Disengaged injust wondering if anyone heard about the letter that was sent out to all congregations whose kh have an apartment attached to it.
the edict from bethel was that these apartments were to be vacated a.s.a.p.
the reason: so retiring do's & co's with no place to go could occupy them.

May I ask you, if what you say is true... then wouldn't the matter not be limited to 'RETIRING' CO's and DO's, and thus include currently 'serving' CO's and DO's, as well as Special Pioneers and Missionaries? Have not ALL of these taken a 'special vow of poverty'?
And are not the Bethelites, farm, Branch, Facilities workers all 'employees' of the organization, who receive 'food and board' in exchange for compensation, and thus, if living in one of these units, subject to having such considered as 'remuneration' with a certain 'value'?
Just asking, and thank you in advance for your clarification.

Ahh, 'Pom... peace to you!
You know, I LOVE going through this with you, for you only serve to help me understand my Father... and my Lord... to an even greater degree. You have done what many of us, including me, have been taught to do, and that is misunderstand MOTIVE AND INTENT.
I urge you to look at the Hebrew rendering of this 'command'... and discern the INTENT. In truth, the command that we do not deal falsely with... adversely with... or trick or cheat... our brother.
So, let me ask you: your 'pretty' wife says, 'Pom, honey, am I fat?' (Sorry, Mrs. 'Pom, but my Lord is permitting me to make a point...) You, loving her dearly and LIKING how she looks... to YOU... say, "Oh, NO, dear... you're not fat!" But... IS she? Perhaps she is. Did you lie to her? To some you certainly many have. But in truth, 'Pom, what you DIDN'T do, was overstep Leviticus 19:11. Why? Because you stated what you did... OUT OF LOVE... and NOT out of an intent to DECEIVE. There was NO malice... or adversity... in your heart.
But now let's say, your next door neighbor has TICKED you off. And so, you go to HIS wife and say, "Hey, so what was John doin' at that bar with that 'honey' last night while you were working (knowing FULL well John was home working on his car because you SAW him, but you WANT to get him in trouble)? You have know DECEIVED John's wife, LIED on him... maliciously, adversely and out of hatred.
You see, this is one of the WONDERFUL things I love about learning ancient Hebrew from my Lord. He not only explains the TRUE word, but also the TRUE rendering... and intent.
What you... and MANY others... fail to understand, 'Pom... fail to SEE, is the SPIRITUALITY of what is 'written'. You see the 'letter' of the Law... but not the true 'spirit' of it. ANYTHING done in love... is NOT a sin... for there IS NO LAW... against love. Even lying in love. However... EVERYTHING done out of hatred and hypocrisy, even if not condemned by the Law... IS a sin. Thus, the ENTIRE Law Covenant was 'summed up' in that, along with loving God with your whole heart, mind, soul, and strength... you MUST... LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR... AS YOURSELF.
In truth, I will be among the FIRST to 'rejoice', 'dear Pom... when you... and SO many other so-called 'christians'... get this. But you never will, unless you ask for... and receive... the 'eyesalve' of holy spirit from my Lord... that what WAS 'blind'... might gain 'sight'.

You made the following statement, implying that I am a liar and have lied to the folks here. Lumping me in with some others, you said:

First, I forgive you for your slander, for you speak without knowing.
Now, then... I have reviewed my post for lies... even mistakes and unwary and unintentional falsehoods. Would you be so, please, to point out the 'christian sounding terms' that I have used to teach heresy? And might I add that indeed, I am a 'heretic' insofar as I disagree with the teachings of religion (heresy is pretty much going against the teachings of a religion); however, I have spoken NOTHING against the true 'church' of Christ, and have in fact explained it to those who were not knowing.
Now, I know that YOU 'belong' to a religious organization, WW, and that is entirely your choice and perogative. You follow, then, a 'pastor' or 'reverend' or 'elder' or 'bishop' or 'brother' or 'pope' or... what have you. I, though, follow One... the Lamb of God. He is my ONLY 'leader'. I do not have to go into a certain building with certain steeples and crosses and altars and names displayed in order to worship my God; all I need is to approach him THROUGH CHRIST. And my Lord comes to ME... whenever I call... or whenever he deems it appropriate, AS WELL AS when I am in the midst of my brothers, including only ONE of such.
I do not know which 'god' you worship, WW, but it seems to ME that if I have to travel to a 'temple' of some sort to DO it, I might as well have stayed under the Law Covenant, which REQUIRED such traveling. No, I think I like it MUCH better... that my Father... and my Lord... have come to ME... and made their 'abode'... in me. That way, I am NEVER without them; the 'union' remains intact, as long as I... 'remain in union' with them.
Why not accept the invitation held out to ALL, Dub-Dub, to:
"COME! Take 'life's water' free!"?
THAT way... you can truly BE... free.

There is only ONE true 'church', DW, and you 'affiliate' with it by BECOMING it... and being joined TO it... rather that joining it. It has one chief cornerstone, a foundation made up of twelve, and stones and pillars made up of at least 144,000 from among the sons of Jacob (Israel) and an amount from 'every nation, tribe, tongue and people', which NO man is able to number. It has one 'leader'... the Son of God... and one 'hope'... life everlasting in the city 'having real foundations', New Jerusalem, a 'heavenly' or SPIRITUAL city, that eventually spreads it boundaries over the entire earth... an within the walls of which 'righteousness is to dwell'.
You will not find it in a building; for you must BECOME the building.

You will not find it in an organzation or insitution; for you will find it... in YOU... and others like you. Thus, before you can worship in IT... it must 'dwell' in you.

What of association? It is as the 'leader' of this 'church' himself said, 'Where two or more are gather together... IN MY NAME... there I am also.' And what is the NAME of that One? It is JAH-ESHUA (Jah Saves) MISCHA-JAH (Chosen/Anointed of JAH)... which you have heard translated from Greek to English as "Jesus Christ". "Jesus" in, in Greek is Ieosus, but in Hebrew, is JahEshua (pronoused "Yahshua" or Joshua"), and "Christ" is in Greek "Kristos", but in Hebrew "Mischa-Jah" (pronounced "Mee-sha-ya", and in English "Messiah").
And where can this One be found? He can't be. But... if you will continue to seek his kingdom... HE... will find you. If you continue to ASK... HE... will answer you. And if you continue to KNOCK... HE... will lead you to... and OPEN to you... his kingdom.
