For Those That Married JW, Did You Have Sex Before Your Wedding?

i'm sure this has been covered before.

i'm wondering, though, how many who got married as a jehovah's witness actually waited for their wedding day?

it's for a "good cause," namely my peace of mind.

first wedding.. No.. we were having sex about 3 months before the wedding.. I was actually pregnant on my wedding day.. although I didn't know it.. you would think when I took a bite of the wedding cake and immediately ran to the bathroom to throw up I would have had a clue!

my second wedding? no.. I always felt guilt for my 'fornication' with my first husband so I wanted to make sure that I did it right the next time... be faithful.. obedient.. give our marriage the best foundation..

what a bunch of Bs.. turns out he was hiding from me that fact he COULDN"T have sex... what a revelation that was on our wedding night..

the whole i-35w bridge fell into the mississippi river!

cars and trucks in the river.

yeah.. I was surprised the numbers are not higher too.. and they are saying they have only about 8 unaccounted of (that they are aware of).. which my guess is it will be 5 + 8... for their total..

I talked to ColdRedRain last night on yahoo.. he is fine.. plotting his devious plots for the DC he has to go to ... but that is another story

How Many Here Actually Lock Their Doors At Night?

i'm shocked by how many people i know who live in larger towns that do not lock their doors or windows.....do you?

I didn't always back in Minnesota.. (northern, rural).. for sure growing up we didn't.. we used to even leave the keys in the ignition of the car..

In Cali.. I look everything.. I dont' even leave the car open to walk back and forth to bring in groceries.. and I am careful about leaving windows open that would be easy to break into now that I am on a first floor apartment

a witness cannot question anything from a critic's point of view.

wondering aloud why the watchtower says a certain thing can get you in trouble with the think police (the elders).

what things can you think of that are taboo for jws??

my second husband couldn't have sex.. (hateful man) and I couldn't divorce him.. (according to their rules)..

but I did.. and that was when I walked away from it all..

Just take things a day at at time. For those still brainwashed, there is a great fear to question or doubt anything the Watchtower Society directs. They are taught to run from this type of thinking. She loves you and so it is conflicting to her..

well just because CRR doesn't live near there, doesn't mean he wasn't near it when it collapsed.. I've never lived in that area but traveled on that bridge a zillion times...

I haven't heard from any of my cousins.. I'm hoping they are all ok..

dinner time guilt

i have a family of 4. each of us have very different likes and dislikes.

my husband and youngest daughter are vehemently opposed to tomatos or tomato products.

spaghetti sauce is completely out of the picture.

well I was pretty spoiled growing up.. if I didn't like something.. my mom made me something else.. (not that I pulled that often.. mostly only for breakfast.. I was really picky about what cereals, etc I would eat)

so I guess I've felt like it is my turn when my kids were growing up.. I tried to make them all happy.. but I did it one meal at a time. I tried to find things most everyone was ok with..

Even now, I try to make things both my son and I like.. now that it is just the two of us. if he won't be home, I'll make something I happen to really like that he is less crazy about.

so .. at the suggestion of krw, i checked with the health department to find out the laws for my state.

i learned that they do not allow home bakeries here.

so i had to rethink some things.

I used to decorate cakes on the side.. I miss it... I stopped because of carpel tunnel.. for some odd reason the angles of cake decorating when using stiff icing was too much for me.. (where as I haven't really stopped doing anything else).. I only do cakes now for very special occasions and special people..
