All the planets in our solar system rotate counter-clockwise, except Venus. It is the only planet that rotates clockwise. - Venus is currently on public reproof.

I didn't post this to "blame" Bush. These numbers are from the U.S. government's own statistics. You can interpret it anyway you want.
My job story: I had a great job, making a lot of money, and I absolutely LOVED it. Then I got laid off. I was out of work for 6 months before I found another one, which is a secretary, pays $13,000 a year less than the one I worked before, and is menial. Yes its a job and I work it every day gladly. But it is not challenging. So every day I also look for a good job that I can use my intellect and that would be challenging (I used to have signature authority and supervise other staff).
So don't make assumptions about me!

Personally I have been most blessed with unconditional love. I have found new family that may not be related by blood, but have a much deeper bond and for much longer. I have found new friends that can I can communicate with freely, talk about deep things with, question authority with, or just hang out. Friends that have accepted me and stayed with me through life-changing events. I have been blessed with a partner who I love very much, a son who is a close friend. Mostly I have been blessed with a new type of spirituality that embodies love. One that doesn't label me a sinner or ask me to repent or grovel to be blessed, and one that doesn't require me to die to have peace, serenity or even bliss.
I'm blessed to live in a place where I can see the bald eagles, osprey and blue herons fly by my office window. Where I can be in the high mountains, near a river, or at the ocean in a matter of an hour or so. I'm blessed with enough to eat each day and a roof over my head. (Just yesterday I saw a homeless person sleeping on the street and that came to mind how often I take that for granted.)
There are FAR too many to count.

OCW, just remember why snake is the symbol of renewal and growth through adversity. As the snake goes forward he sheds his skin, no longer "fitting" in the old one, no longer needing it. I know that as you grow into your new skin you will continue to be a wonderful caring friend to those who know you. I have been honored to meet you here. My best friend had the elders spy on her. She was at her boyfriend's house (unbeliever), they ended up having sex in the living room. Three elders watched them through a window. I wish they had been arrested. At any rate, the voyeurs got their kicks, I mean evidence, and called her into committee. After it was over one of them pulled her to one side and said, "in 30 years of being married my wife has NEVER been in the top position while we were having sex." (thanks for sharing)... guess they thought that really made her a hussy. If they only knew. I think the old guys can't watch porn so this is better for them.

csu, fresno is known for having quite a few anti-gay unspoken truths, so i decided to help out our community a little, and volunteered to speak to some of the womens studies classes about homosexuality.
it was pretty damned awesome, because we educated a lot of people about what being gay is... and, we also educated a few witnesses, thanks to me.
