by vitty ini was in the org for 20 years and never actually read the bible from beginning to end.
then i bought a living bible and found even the most difficult parts easy to read.
but i still couldnt find time.

they were very interested.

20 Weeks Smoke Free

yesterday was my 20th week anniversary on the day that i quit smoking!
it feels so good to be smoke free, my wife is happier and so is my bank account, lol!.

My mom was Kidnapped By the FBI Today She told Me F@#$ OFF!!

it was a very hard thing to do.
he had me go hunting.

Decki I don't know how you are doing this. I truly cannot do the same thing if my mom is ever in that position. I don't have the experience to give you advice, but I sure do want to pass along a great big hug. And keep doing the deep breathing and meditation, it really does help in highly stressful situations. You rock, chicky.

Crisis here and there No more visits for a while
by hambeak incooking dinner for the folks and the oven caught fire.
john is an ass as his fuel pump went out and wants us to fix it.. told him to go to the dealer.
john threatened to hit jake and it was awful.

Shocker!!!---leading up to my plan
by Junction-Guy inwell folks, i started writing a big post and then the keyboard acted up on me, so i lost everything i was saying.
first of all amanda was right, this isnt anything i can just walk away from, it is'nt something that i can just put behind me and move on.
this involves my sexuality and my childhood experience growing up in the jw cult.

Dave, my heart goes out to you and Amanda. I too fought with this all my life, mostly I just partitioned it off into a tiny back part of my brain and NEVER ever thought about it. I remember wondering if I was gay or bisexual or what I was and looking ahead and wondering how scary life would become. I lived in a very conservative area where I could be fired for being a lesbian, and that didn't help the nerves either. I can tell you that I was shocked at who my real friends were. People I didn't expect to see me through what was an excrutiating growth period of my life were there for me throughout. People I thought would do anything for me turned their backs. Like you I faced this after my departure from the JWs and also during a marriage.
One of my best friends growing up got out of the dubs (he was a gilead missionary and annointed) his wife and he went through much of what you and Amanda are experiencing. He is now with a male partner, they have been together about 7 or 8 years if not longer, and he and his partner and his wife and her husband are absolute best of friends. They truly love each other.
I don't know where your journey will take you, but without the heavy burden it does get better, and easier and much happier.

Nearly Middle Aged Woman Asks: Should I watch the Sopranos?
by Crumpet inokay last night the sopranos got voted the best drama ever to be shown on tv.
i have never watched a single episode, but before i commit myself to starting from season 1 and working my way through to season 6 or whatever it is up to can anyone here tell me what is good about it.
what are its strengths?.

Crumpet, I'm way older than you and I just in the last week have started on episode 1 season 1 and have been watching through. I love this show. I'm up to disc 1 of season 2 and plan on watching the whole thing.
