I beg your pardon, but your breast is in my eye!!!
by Scully inok, so i'm at the dentist this afternoon - nothing major, just something i've been putting off for a while - and the dental assistant is doing her thing with my teeth - my mouth is wired open (i think i was able to tune into radio transmissions for a while) - and i've got my eyes closed, my glasses off, trying to relax in the chair, while listening to the piped in muzak.. suddenly, i can tell she's really getting into her work - she's leaning against my face and getting quite vigorous about whatever she's doing to my tooth.
then it dawned on me.... ummm... hello.... your breast is in my eye!!!
except my mouth is frozen and wired so that all that's coming out is unintelligible garble... and drool (from being wired open, not because it's the least bit "interesting").. so i'm thinking to myself, if i push her away from my face, she looks the type that would clock me for sexually harassing her... if i say anything to her about it, she'll be embarrassed and might screw up my tooth... if i wait a couple more minutes, she'll be done and i might have an interesting story to share with mr scully... finally, it occurs to me that they said i could give them a signal to stop what they are doing.

Shoulder is dislocated/subluxated
by seeitallclearlynow inhave you ever had this condition?
it's not a full-blown dislocation as might occur in a sports accident.
but it's very uncomfortable and the chiropractor keeps trying to put it back in place.

I would get medical treatment. I do go to chiropracters, but in my opinion they do better with spinal adjustments, this shoulder dislocation is not their expertise, they are not doctors.

i love reading posts on this forum though would have to say some of those are pure philosophical speculations (though very good ones) of sort if god is almighty can he create rock he wouldnt be able to lift i.e.

Ms. Peaches, didn't mean to ignore you! I thought the service was very like the christian services I have been to without the communion part. Some find the lack of mention of Jesus as troubling and if you need that for spiritual fulfillment it definately wouldn't be your cup of tea. But I have to tell you, the nicest people go there, very friendly. Before I went I had this image in my mind of the type of individual that would go to the UU, I thought it would be marginal, strange type people. Was I ever wrong. They were for the most part, professionals, very intelligent, but the commonality was a desire to make a difference in a humanitarian way and a respect for the earth.
It just wasn't my cup of tea, not pagan enough.

Ipsec you are correct and incorrect at the same time! Maiden Mother Crone are different aspects of the goddess, true, but it isn't taught as being three in one as the trinity is. We women all reflect those same aspects in our lifetime (some skip the mother part, but it represents the adult womanhood of childbearing age), and I'm pretty sure I as a woman am not a trinity.
Wicca is more of a dual religion, the god and the goddess, and Dianic Wicca celebrates the divine feminine and in that, those three periods of a woman's life. Interestingly (or not if you don't care about the subject) in old times where the goddess was the divine, old women (crones) were highly respected as wise-women. But that was prior to the burning times.
