i listened to this on the way into work this morning ... the parallels with today are very striking: .

daniel ellsberg is one of the most important whistle-blowers of the last century.

a former marine and state department insider during the 1960s, he leaked the pentagon papers to the press in 1971. this 7,000-page document, detailing u.s. policy towards vietnam under four presidents, was shocking stuff: a litany of lies, half-truths and concealment.

War is too profitable. I'd love to see the politicians of the world out on the field shedding each other's blood.

I have no illusions about the WTS or any legal system. If ~~the~~ some people within it have abandoned all moral and ethical values, and the system is totally corrupt, no one is safe.

Blonde wrote that in another thread, I like that concept.

I have no doubt that the American govt is not too be trusted. I can not feel sorrow or compasion for a people that would delude themselves so greatly. If the govt of this country ever turns on its citizens, I feel that they/we all richly deserve it.

it was during the drought when alberta and sask were in bad shape for hay.my husband was promised 100 bales (this was before the drought).when my husband was ready for the hay the elder said he couldnt have any ,in the field there were trucks picking up hay which he sold for double the price.so here we were with no promised hay to feed 32 horses.does anyone else have a story?

Thanks for sharing. This is an important piece of the puzzle. Any single solution is not a cure in itself, ie;diet,exercise,brain chemistry,emotional health. But taken all together they are supportive. For me it was a long down-ward spiral. After a few years of Dr.s not really helping any, I realized that my recovery was up to me. I had to choose to get better, and figure out how to get better. I saw that it was an up-ward spiral.
