  I needed a good laugh. Thank you. I like your Highlander idea. It might not actually be that exciting to whatch a bunch of 80-90+year olds try and have at each other with swords. If they could 'appoint' proxies who were more able, that would be entertainng. Ofcourse, if a proxy lost, so would the GB member who appointed him or her.

  Police drown cat

  last week, two police officers threw a cat into the river to drown it, after owner alleged it had attacked her and no longer wanted it.. .

  personally, i find it disgusting and completely inhumane.

  My favorite cat had to be put down a few days ago, so I am not in the mood to suffer idiots.

  Nightmares

  oh sweet lord, save me from this insanity.. *still shaking*.

  i get so bloody sick of this frigging nightmares.. my god.. i went to bed about 1.5 hours ago, and about five minutes ago i wrestled myself back to being awake, wanting to escape yet an other horror filled with demons and dead people who want to do me harm.

  om something similar stupid.. well at least my ordeal didn't last for more than one hour or so .... .

  Have you ever tried lucid dreaming? You could ask the zombies or whatever questions. "Who are you?" "What are you?" "What do you mean?" Or you can blow them up. Incinerate them with energy. Push them into another dimension. This is YOUR dream after all.

  You may want to figure out what is feeding your imagination these sort of subject materials. If you are whatching 28 Days or similiar before bed, then that is likely it. Or your imagination could be feeding you unresolved emotional conflict with friends or family.

  I used to keep a dream journal. When I did that, my frequency of recalled dreams went up. After just a few weeks I could not keep up with writing them all out. So now I just write the interesting ones. I have had moments in dreams that were very healing.

  I have also noticed that certain pain killers give me strange, even unpleasant dreams.

  I was bothered by a few guys who thought they were tuff shit. My reaction to them was to not have a reaction. I think that egged them on. I also had my best friend who was also a JW looking out for me. And he really can kick ass.

  Is it possible to stay friends?

  i am no longer in touch with anyone i've had a relationship with in the past.. there was one man that i stayed friends with long after i had got over the relationship.

  however, the "staying friends" stuff dragged out the process of getting over the breakup to painful lengths.

  the friendship lasted as long as he needed a mate in the area to pass an evening with when he was around here, and someone to fill out the numbers and buy a present when he got married.

  If I were in your situation, I'd just let the relationship fade. Smile at the memories. If you should cross paths someday, then by all means say hello. Have as much of an exchange that you feel confortable with. Let the feeling that there is any obligation between you go.

  I've been meaning to ask, are you a chemist? When I first graduated HS I attended colledg for one year seeking a chemistry degree. I wish that I'd stuck to it.

  I started gaining when I moved away from the KH and stopped all meetings. I am now loosing it slowly and am about 20lbs from my goal.

  I know that I won't have the body I had when I graduated HS-6' 1", 165lbs and 28 1/2" waiste. --Sigh.

  How old were you when you left?

  i only know a handful of witnesses, but i do know several ex-witnesses.

  all of them left in their late teens, which (as i've read here) is pretty common.

  i know there are a lot of people here who left later in life.

  Felt pressured and got baptized at 15.

  Innactive in service by 22.

  Stopped regular meetings at 24-25.

  Last memorial at 27.

  Complete belief system overhaul 28.

  Turned 30 this January, and getting my life back in gear.

  I've never read The Advocate.

  And if being a "Real Man" means that I have to subscribe to a narrow simplistic worldview commonly held by A$$H0113$ who don't even know they are just drones for the system, then that's O.K. with me. I prefer to be Human.

  Now if you want to just go chew some tobacco and read something Republican, then I'm all for that too.

  FWIW, I dislike ALL politicans. You can call me a Fag any day, I don't care. But when you call me a "Liberal", that pisses me off.
