the other morning during handover the night staff handed over that a certain woman in a particular bed was a jw.
her hb was low at 7dgb following surgery etc etc.....and she was just silly for not accepting a blood transfusion.. i spent most of the day busy, but kept a mental note to go and see her in particular, to let her know that i understood where she was coming from.

by Xandria inlos angeles, california (reuters) -- actress-singer jennifer lopez has married her current boyfriend, salsa singer marc anthony, barely five months after breaking her much-publicized engagement to actor ben affleck, us weekly reported saturday.. the magazine said lopez, 33, married latin music star anthony, 34, at her home in los angeles saturday in front of about 40 guests.
us weekly said it had pictures of a giant tent assembled on the estate and of guests coming and going among tables covered in white table cloths and flower centerpieces.. "it was a lovely low-key intimate affair for the closest friends and family, " us reported a friend as saying.. "she didn't hardly tell anyone.
everyone was surprised," another unidentified friend told the magazine.. representatives for lopez and anthony could not immediately be reached for comment.. the reported marriage comes less than a week after anthony was granted a quickie divorce in the dominican republic from his wife of four years, dayanara torres, a former miss universe.. it would be the third marriage for lopez, the sultry star whose previous trips down the aisle have both lasted a little over a year.. tabloid news reports have linked anthony and lopez for weeks.

My heart has been broken in two -JW- HE IS MARRIED!!!
by Karissa inmy boyfriend and i (or i should say ex-boyfriend.
) have been dating for about 5 1/2 months.
this is not a long time i know but within this time we had both fell deeply in love with each other, it was very fast and very strong, heartfelt and beautiful.

I am so very sorry for what you are going through. Betrayal by the one you love is a deep, deep wound.
My advice to you would be to get rid of his stuff. Take an appropriate amount of time to get over the relationship. Then move on and don't look back. Your guy is married. He has indicated that he's not going to leave anytime soon because he'd lose too much. The only way that he could get a scriptural divorce (the only kind the JWs approve of) would be if he wife were unfaithful to him. (I guess technically he could get one for being unfaithful to his wife, but that would also involve disfellowshipping. Which, I'm sure is another reason he won't leave her.)
Again, I hate that you're going through this pain.

I understand. I just don´t care anymore. They´re old and if they visit me once a year it ain´t gonna be more than ten times. Guess I´m just not so sensible about it.
You know LS, if doing that makes your parents happy and lets you keep contact with them. By all means do it.
I no longer do this because I no longer have to. I just hate that the policies of a group of old men in Brooklyn have the power to do this to us.

Any of you worked for Primerica? My experience at their "seminar."

he told me he had his own business and was looking to "expand.
" he told me i "was a special person" with "good qualities" and "capable of going places.

A couple of years ago, after being laid off, I went to a job fair sponsored by one of the local radio stations. One of the booths there was Primerica. I talked to the guy and he seemed nice. He said they would be conducting interviews over the next few evenings and to sign up for one. Not knowing anything about the company (other than what he told me) I did it.
However, thankfully... I knew the person manning one of the other booths and she "expedited" the hiring process so I got a real job and it was never a necessity to even check out Primerica. BUT... over the next month they called me two and three times a day. They even came by my house a few times. I remember thinking, while hiding and looking out the blinds, "these guys are worse than the witnesses!" That was enough for me to never even consider them again.
