Glaring discrepency in Blood Doctrine

i found an article on the dr. sears website about the benefits of breasfeeding.

according to the article it says: "a drop of breastmilk contains about one million white blood cells.

" it also says "colostrum also contains higher amounts of white blood cells..........than mature milk.

The only recourse I can see from the borg., if this argument was made......which it is most likely not too (dubs on read WT's remember), is that the entire process of human life from a mother to unborn child involves the sharing of blood. Therefore, nursing wouldn't be considered an issue. Or some bologna like that.

(this may offend some sincere 'christians'.

can you, as a human, stop yourself from breathing?.

i have always thought that one of the basic teachings of 'christianity' is the concept that we are "mere sinners"...riddled with guilt and not worthy of god or life...undeserved kindness has been shown to us etc.... but, we have no control over that, just as we have no control over breathing air!.

My explanation would be, God sent his son in a manner to look over our sins. All we have to do is imitate the Isrealites in Moses' day who were instructed to look at the copper serpent.....and put faith in the ransom of the son so that God could forgive us our sins.....of which we have no control over.

Not sure if that answered....but thats where I am now.

Is it worth it trying to wake up a friend and my parents?

my situation right now is trying that how my friend and parents that the jw's are not the true religion.

i've shown numerous examples of flip flopped doctrine, false predicions, the validity of the jesus choosing the bible students in 1919 and more.

but it seems that although the recognize these mistakes they ask me, "aren't you happy the organization is making progress?

Hi, im in a similiar situation as you. No, scratch that....I am in the exact same situation. PM me anytime buddy. And I would recomend you try to let them see the human side of things before heavy handedly show the fallacies in doctrine.

I really hate how techno the borg. is going. Let me rephrase that, I hate how the borg. is controling information through the new highly structured meetings and assignments, and how they are making everything centralized and the R and F believe that it is a blessing from JAh. HOW IS IT A BLESSING FROM JAH if you can't explain what you claim to believe, or accept as truth without pulling out your tablet and pulling up some website. No use of the bible, or something to (attempt to) rationalize it???? If you get a question, direct the householder to the website.....or better yet SHOW THEM the website...with the nice little short answer pre-prepared. Dumb down the R and F so that they can no longer be good students of the bible. (or atleast some version of that)

this last monday we got a letter from him telling us how unloving we are because we are no longer jw.

we experience disrespect and backlash from those who we love, our natural reaction is to get back quickly. There is still hope there because they are still

writing.......just ignore they're frustration and rants for now. They are experiencing dissonance. Sooner or later, through God's grace, they will realize they are

the one's who are not doing things in a loving manner......and from there they will progress toward a point of being awake. As another poster has mentioned:

your grandkids will see through the crap and will be out by the time they are teenagers......THERE IS HOPE. And it's always good to know that you do have

your wife with you!

Since learning TTATT

so, i was reading combating cult mind control....and i was just thinking: since i've been doing research and learning about the false doctrines of the wtbs and others who are still asleep.

the more i accept that all is not right, the more i see the depression that many in the org.

are going through, the more i see the "human" side of things, the more i compare the average uber dub to the average mainstream christian.....the more i recognize how this cannot be jah's organazation.

Ever try to contact local "inactive publishers"?

i'm just wondering if anyone has ever tried to contact inactive or disfellowshipped jws in their area.

there are many faders in our area.

there is also a large born-in family that had many leave who were labeled as apostates.

I have also wondered about faders. I used to wonder why people just became inactive and only attended a few meetings a year......I never treated them any different but I always wondered. Now I wish I could connect with a few.

So, I was reading Combating Cult Mind Control....and I was just thinking: since I've been doing research and learning about the false doctrines of the WTBS and others who are still asleep. The more I accept that all is not right, the more I see the depression that many in the org. are going through, the more I see the "human" side of things, the more I compare the average uber dub to the average mainstream Christian.....the more I recognize how this cannot be Jah's organazation. Jehovah knows those who are his.....which eliminates the need for a singular organazation. As I learn more, my faith is growing. I truly do feel a personal relationship with God and Jesus.......one that I felt guilty about not having while still a believer. I feel extremely fortunate to be learning TTATT, to be a member of this forum, and to be still inside just enough to encourage others within to seek truth. (though cautiously). Inner peace and mental freedom > being a believing uber dub.
