someone just told my wife, that those who are just leaving organization or not going anymore will be dfed, has anyone read that or heard of that?
i have seen nothing of that, and according to jackson at royal commission, we are free to go as we please...
If you don't want to be DF'd DO NOT tell ANYONE your reason for leaving. If asked prying questions just reply, "I do not feel the need to discuss that with you, it's personal." Once you start talking, you are at risk of DF'ing.
Be careful, some demented elders will try and trick you. We have had this done to us. We know exactly what this person is up to. He wants us DF'd . He thinks he is slick. We say NOTHING. It pisses him off to no end. It has been quite amusing to play this game with him.

so our sunday meeting was on the 25th (christmas) and my active jw wife and i were out of town enjoying some family time with relatives.. apparently there were many others in our congregation that missed as well.
so few were there in fact that sisters ran the mics.
(actually it was a sister running one of the two mics) a friend of my wife commented to her about how the brothers just aren't stepping up and it "makes her want to cry.

this includes examining the scriptures daily—2017 and the 2017 yearbook of jehovah’s witnesses.
Dec. 23 rd. Still no 2017 yearbook. Waiting patiently on Jah!
recently attended a special assembly day.. guest speaker was thomas chicky, a member of the us branch committee and the head of the us ldc (which has replaced the rbcs).. the last talk of the day is scheduled for an hour.
it was the usual boring mumbo-jumbo.
he appeared to have blasted through his hour-long outline in just about 45 minutes, so he "treated" us to informal comments on recent developments.. he commented on the new wt complex in fishkill ny.. then he dropped the bomb (well, to anyone with ears and at least 2 functioning synapses).. the following is not a word for quote, but presents the gist of his comments:.
Yep...the ole bait and switch. Watchtower is very good at it. Years of practice. The majority will just bobble their heads up and down in agreement. Sad! The thing that satisfies us is NONE of our money is going towards any WT crap. We are enjoying a vacation this week.

The thing that gives my spouse and I great satisfaction is not contributing to WT anymore. Our money is being used to enjoy life, save for our kids college and plan for retirement. NO MORE MONEY FOR WT! Let's hope more of the rank and file are seeing WT for what it really is....a sham!
