after about 6 months we arranged to meet up (i made sure my parents were at home coz i know it's dodgy to meet people from the internet).anyway,he came round my house one evening in march and we got along soo well...he lives quite locally too which was good.our friendship then grew into a relationship and we started dating and going out together,i was sooo happy and i fell for him in a massive way & he said he felt the same way too.to me,he was a girls dream come true...he was kind,caring,fit,good-looking & gentle and i loved him to bits!,i still do,and i thought we'd be together forever.
something that i did find a bit strange though was i hadn't met his family yet or heard my boyfriend talk much about them.i would question him about his family but he seemed to get a bit funny about it and when i mentioned about meeting his family he said something along the lines of ''they're a bit strange,you might not like them'' (or something like that anyway).that got me thinking and i though prehaps they lived in a run-down place or something,or they wern't very nice people and i thought my b/f could be ashamed to let me meet them.i thought to myself to give him time & he'll see that i'm an understanding & nice person and hoped that he would soon come out and tell me what the problem was (thinking it was about what i've just mentioned).
I know Jehovahs Witnesses are not supposed to have sex before they're married,let alone with a 'Wordly girl'...does the same go for oral sex? and other sexual activities that two people would do when they are in love?.Please can someone with good advice reply to this.
Yes... for both questions and they are considered DisFellowshipping offenses. As for oral sex, it is a DF offense even if married. As for sexual activities for couples in love, it is forbidden between two JWs and much more so, between a JW and a non-JW.
It's their rules.

I'd like to have a brief desrcription of what religion/faith all of you are, what you call yourselves, what you stand for, the God you worship, what sets you apart from others, and what makes you right, please.
Why do I bother? JWs never believe any other people's beliefs that don't agree with them. Don't you know that your religion considers other beliefs as Evil and from the Devil? Because of that, JWs already has a prejudged notion toward other people's beliefs.

You are a baptized JW and you know very well about the consequences of dating a non-JW. You already know how your relationship is gonna end: You'll be pressured by your family, your congregation as well by your conscience to convince FunkyDiva to convert... OR... they will either reprove you or more likely, disfellowship you if you don't stop seeing her.
If you know the rules in your religion, then STOP playing with her and be REALLY honest with her about where your relationship is going. About your topic, I hate to break this to you, but all the posters here are telling you the truth. I've been there, done that except I am the non-JW guy and the JW is a girl. For the JWs, they will drop you before they'll drop their religion. It's true that they are all "nice" and "personable", but after experiencing that, all I can say is that is just all a "facade". There will be people here who are gonna flame me for saying this, but I still say that the JWs are all "Wolves in Sheep Clothing".
Should you decide to continue that relationship, I wish you "GOOD LUCK!"
I suggest you read what they believe and most importantly, what are their rules and regulation. Believe me, they are strict with their rules.
Let me finish by asking you:
You don't have to answer me, but these are questions for yourself.

If expressing my views contrary to that of JWs or any other religious group is offending them, then "NO" I don't care about offending them.
In the case of these "self-righteous" snobs, anything that does not agree with them is offensive. So, oh well. That's their problem.

However, given the total prize money that both Williams sister earned (Singles Winner, Runner up and Doubles Winner), the elders and the GB will look the other way. I am sorry to hear about the situation that you are in.
We all know that you feel lost now that you are living with a JW and pretty much being observed by them. Now, don't get discouraged: Be true to yourself and to your heart as you had told us that you don't wanna be a JW.
Although it is something that I don't encourage people to do, I think you cannot be openly honest and sincere with them. Does that mean that you have to be dishonest and not straightforward with them? I am afraid so, because it seems to me that they are being insincere and not straightforward with you. So why do you have to be sincere and honest with people that are treating you like crap? I wouldn't, Been there and Done that myself (even with a JW).
They want to hear you say that you are a lesbian??? Don't tell'em and don't give them the satisfaction. Whether you are a lesbian or not, it is nobody's friggin' business, not even theirs or ours.
Just remember be strong and don't let them get to you as they want to do that. Be true to yourself and safeguard your thoughts to yourself and don't express your thoughts to no JW.

i found this material on a pro-jw newsletter, and i've had this personal experience myself and know many others who have also.
before i became a jw i experienced a tremendous amount of "love" from the congregation i associated with, but once baptized they leave and move on to the next potential convert.
as a single person, i was never invited out to gatherings very much and always felt a little left out in the very clique-ish congregation that i attended.
Many JW they dont have real love in their hearts,its just a mask on the outside.
My thoughts precisely. I was never a JW and in getting involved with one I did notice that attitude once I started expressing my views opposing the WTS. They sure do give a great acting when showing how lovely, nice and concerned they are, but if you're not interested or if you disagree with their views, their masks will certainly come off.
