  Get rich Quick Dubs

  dubs are always looking for an angle to make money.their probably no worse than anybody else,but they do like to preach against materialism while chasing the illusive dollar.alot of times its some form of pyramid scheme.amway for one,or the triple charge system(owned and operated by some dubs from califonia)then theres the out and out pyramid scheme.you bring in people who give the pyramid $500.00,after bringing in so many people the guy at the top get`s a $17,000.00 payout,and is free to start again at the bottem of the pyramid.i`ve known a few dubs who have collected their 17grand.the pyramid eventually burns out,and the people at the bottem are left holding the bag(no payout).they lose the money they couldn`t afford to spend to begin with.there are some dubs though,that make a good living at this.what are some of the get rich schemes you`ve witnessed(pun intended)in dubland?...outlaw

  I seriously doubt that the JWs will say that they have a bad day at Field Service. They always try to project a positive image despite the contrary, but you did say a good one about casting a Good Luck spell on them.

  Too many to list. It depends on the genre, but I'll list two for each.

  Comedy: Friday and Office Space (this one reminds me so much about work).

  Action: Heat and The Killer (an old John Woo Hong Kong flick).

  Drama: Forrest Gump and Casino.

  Dramedy (mix of drama and comedy): As Good As It Gets and Good Morning Vietnam.

  Sci-Fi: The Matrix and T2.

  Suspense: Frantic (A Harrison Ford movie) and The Silence of the Lambs.

  The main reasons I love all these movies are the locales where they were filmed, the storyline/plot and character development that these films have.

  Taking from absolutelynoone's idea, how about use a camcorder and film them at the door and start asking questions about dateline. I wonder if that will shoo them away.

  I wonder if you can act as if you have Tourette syndrome and start cussing and saying a lot of nonsense out of the blue while they are at the door. heh heh

  i can't find the words that would express how grateful i am for all the support, not only for all of you to back me on the dateline show but for my trial as well.

  i don't think i would have had the courage to go through the trauma if it wasn't for all your prayers and encouragement.

  dateline was a huge help for many and i know this because i have recieved quite a few calls, one from a current jdub who wants out for the safety of his 16 month old baby, i was so excited that he lifted the veil and saw it for the pure truth that it was.

  You made a very brave stand for what is right and to make sure what happened to you and others won't happen again not only among the JWs, but in all other religions. For that, I applaud you. Hopefully, more victims will step forward like you did.

  By reading your profile and thread, you did go thru a lot in your life.

  One thing I can tell you is HAVE NO FEAR.

  Personally, I think it is up to you and your husband on how your son will be raised as both of you are the parents, not us and not anybody and much less, religion.

  My parents and I have different beliefs, but we still love each other very much despite our different creed.

  About Armageddon, don't believe in all the hoopla: The world has been wild and crazy for a long time. It will never change, but it doesn't mean that it is gonna end. One thing that is always true about living in this wild and crazy world is that there is hope.

  I am sorry that you lost contact with your family due to religion, but don't let that discourage or put a damp to your happiness and the happiness of your newly-formed family (you, husband and son).

  Don't live in Fear. Life is not easy, but it doesn't mean that you have to fear it because it is hard. So, as a welcome message to you, read my signature.

  After 3 years the JWs are at my door

  who would have thunk?.

  well two little old ladies came knocking at my door, watchtowers in hand and their little sheets of paper.. well i asked them point blank if they had seen the show and one of them had and proudly told me that she had not only seen it but taped it.

  i suggested that the other go to watch it and she said she would.. gutsy little ladies i love them.

  It was great that these two ladies will listen and open up. Most JWs won't do that so much that the scary thing is that it looks like they are like programmed drones.

  Why Are People Here So Disrespectful At Times?

  eu has noticed that a number of persons making up this forum are guilty of showing disrespect to jehovah's witnesses.

  some refer to jws as 'hovahs and others talk about kingdumb hells, all the time professing to follow christ.. some may justify their rude behavior by saying that jws themselves can be rude.

  even if the charge is true, and eu is not really convinced that it is, why cannot ex-jws rise above the fray?
