  How do you feel about exJW's who resist our efforts to effect change?

  i've met a few.

  i'm not talking about the jw who, whether df'd or not, falls off the radar and just gets on with living a normal life - good luck to them and may there be many more!.

  i mean the former jehovah's witness who is now enjoying all the benefits of a cult free life thanks to the efforts of many bloggers, posters and activists, but is critical of the efforts of someone close them to free more jws.

  Perhaps consider that much dissent expressed between exjw's isnt that people shouldnt be helped to see TTATT but rather the means and methods. I frequently argue against radical (offensive) methods like crashing the memorial as being counter productive. Methods like asking thought provoking questions, having web sites like this and jwfacts are awesome, imo.

  I also understand that not all will leave or even want to leave the cult. It IS their choice. Its reality. That dosent mean im counter productive to the exjw cause.

  Are you suggesting that we would know then what we know now...? If so im inventing the internet and google and buying tons apple stock.

  If its just asking what we think we would would have done if we didnt have the cult.... Im not actually sure my life would be better.

  i note on here the feedback from the currently ongoing conventions that the gb are heavily trying to guilt and shame any brothers who are not ms or elders.

  i agree with most posters who reckon this shows just how thin on the ground they are for ms and elders but... my question is.

  how comes that even though they are so desperate they still will not allow women to fill those roles?

  Olympus camera program

  i have just lost hours collating, editing hundreds of images on this useless s*** program.

  its called olympus viewer 3 and it decided to shut down and wiped out my work.

  this was part of a business i was creating.. back ups i never stood a chance no more olympus cameras for me.

  Yea Olympus was big player long ago but has never been able to gain a good standing in the digital world. Even a basic nikon or cannon digital slr comes with good editing software and is well worth it. I love film for its retro cool but it simply dosent stand up in convience or even quality in the digital age

  *edited to add: if you like the camera dont give up it. Just get better editing/organizing software. Theres lots of free/paid options that wont crash on you.

  What i wonder, DJS, is if its really intelligence or is it education? In other words, is it people incapable of learning and reasoning or is it people simply never guided to use their brains fully? Ive known plenty of very intelligent people in the wt org. Doctors and lawyers and engineers etc etc.... Although they do tend to be liberal about org rules, so maybe thats an indicator that they are intelligent, that they can reason on the stupidity of cult rules even while indoctrinated

  just because i'm an hopeless curious, and it's a bunch of year i didn't open a wtbts book, i downloaded right now the new booklet "return to jehovah" in french (my language).. i read the 3 first lines, and i was already bored.

  what is this childish way of speaking ?

  it's me, it's just the french translation or it's the case in another language too?.

  i started this op because of an interchange of two posters on this board which hit a nerve with me , as the title suggests.. i think the video clip /u-tube shown was self explanatory that it is not a myth as one poster said., which was viewed under the subject of the confederate flag.. i cannot imagine the chaos / fallout that would occur if whites adopt the same "game " as these guys.and go around doing the same thing.

  which is probably happening anyway .but it needs to be stopped pronto.. are you up to it usa ?.

  i am in australia and we have seen a trend take place here which is very troubling.

  Of course its a real 'game'. I see it played in occasionally in DC but much more so in baltimore. And of course its cowardly... Nobody picks a bodybuilder to try.... A hit when a person isnt looking or a hit to the back of the head is by definition a cowardly act.
