The Wt. Organization could not have kept this off the shelf better. When is it to long? 1 year, 2 years, 5 years? This was not her work. She obviously can't get it done. I have no problem paying for it as I'm sure others don't either. It's just not available and there is no eta on its avaliablity either.

Those bastards are damn lucky my child survived. I agree with Simon I am responsible and would have held myself accountable along with the Bastard Kings in NY.

JeffT I'm not saying it's easy to publish. Just saying in todays age if she can't get it done let others do it. I'm not in a position to do so. If I had the rights I would just put it out there for a nominal fee or free. A free online pdf or a paid pdf is rather easy to set up. Apparently there were not problems with cease and desist letters being sent.
Again the fact this is still not resolved is ridiculous.

This book woke me up. Thank goodness for people that care more about people trying to escape this cult rather than some copyright infringement of peoole that are no longer alive.
If the current copyright holder can't get it done she should give it to someone who can. That's what I would do. I belive many here would do the same. This is beyond ridiculous at this point.

How true Terry. My awakening was the most humbling experience in my life. Feeling totally convinced of the "truth" from my earliest memories, and realizing how false it was the next moment tore me up inside.

Kate my mom was not where she is now. My mom originally had custody. My dad was df'd. She started dating again which made me frustrated. I was 10 when they divorced and it had nothing to do with the religion. My dad was getting reinstated when I was 12 and she had started dating "worldly" guys.
Everyone in my family believed this was the "truth". Including my mom who remarried a non witness. My young life consisted of playing mediator. Yes my Dad said many negative things about my mom as did my older siblings grown said of him. When I was with her I played the role of confidant and tried to make her happy and assure her of my love.
These are some of the reasons I moved away from my family when I turned 17. I moved over 1,000 miles away with an uncle and aunt to pioneer where the need was greater. Or to get away from family drama.

Congratulations Kate. I remember being in a similar position. My mom and I were separated between the ages of 12 to 21. I lived with my dad until 17 and moved away from everyone when I was 17. Came back from bethel at 21. My mom is now the only one outside of my wife and small children that I have a relationship with. We now talk every other day.
