WOW!! You really put alot of work into this, so let me say thank you. I read your whole post it was great. I am so thankful for people such as yourself who go out of thier way to research and give thier views of all the different topics. I too now believe the trinity, but it always helps to read more evidence of it from the bible. Again a gigantic Thank you for all your hard work! pc

All About The Trinity
by UnDisfellowshipped inwhen jesus was about to die, he showed who his superior was by praying: "father, if you wish, remove this cup from me.
the one god is eternal (has always existed and always will), immortal (his divine nature cannot die), omnipotent (all-powerful), omniscient (all-knowing), omnipresent (he is everywhere at the same time), god is the only one who can read human hearts and minds, god cannot sin and cannot lie, god does not change his morals or his nature.
the trinity is not one person revealed three different ways (this is what "oneness pentecostals" believe).

Hi Swalker, Really enjoyed reading your opening post. I am so amazed that your whole family got the real truth at the same time. Your family sounds like real loving people and that is what it is all about. PC

When you left being a JW?
by Sassy indid you for a time think it was still the only true religion and that you were just condemned as long as you were out.
i read a comment by ghosthunter today that kind of echoed my feelings.
i know if i had never read the things i had read here, i'd still have left, for i did that before reading and learning, but i would have been out without the freedom from guilt and damnation.....

I carried so much guilt for many years. I also carried a sense that life was so futile. I have had the most incredible awaking since stumbling upon this site. This is where I found freedom from the guilt and brainwashing that had been rooted deep into my soul. I am trying to get the members of my family out who are still very much invested in being a JW. I can never ever properly thank the wonderful people here who have invested their time (without getting anything in return)and the incredible information that is here. It is the combination of research, advice, friendship and love that makes this forum a place to realize just how incredible human beings can be. PC

Do you get tired of explaining your Witness past?

No, not anymore. I love to tell everyone about the cult. I explain all the lies and how everyone is completely brainwashed. Matter of fact, I attend a chrisitian church in my town and alot of my friends want me to give an opening testimony on being raised a JW. I am not quite ready for that yet, but I'm definetly thinging about it. PC

by lee ini was brought up in the "truth" for over 30 years, mum was too, dad in it since a teenager, they were pioneers, i pioneered, ive left, managed not to be disfellowshipped, i dont believe it, but i love my parents, theyre nice people, victims too, how do i not take it out on them, i have a drink in my hand its how im starting to cope, its hard to deal with right?
am i normal or am i crazy?
i couldnt buy a xmas tree, the guilt, i look over my shoulder every time i buy a birthday card, if i meet an elder i feel frightened and guilty - but i dont believe it!

Lee, This is one place you will not feel alone. Almost everyone here has some of the same baggage. It's like our own secret society. (I really hate that word)! It's probably one of the only places where people can understand exactly what your feeling. It is a great place to express your feelings and also get some incredible information. All I can say is WELCOME and here's to much better days!
(I'm so proud of my technical advances since joining here LOL)
