  i am currently supposed to be working on my homework for a college course i am taking, but i seemed to be hooked on lurking.

  i have been lurking for about a week now.

  Welcome Purza! We all know the beginning lurking and can't move away from the screen syndrome. Make sure you do your homework!! Anyway this is a fantastic place. Everyone has a different opinon and that's fine. You should first be proud of yourself for taking care of your child. Meeting the love of your life is wonderful, take advantage that he is not a JW. People outside can help you see how brainwashed we all are. Getting counseling will be huge for you. Realize you'll go through alot of up and downs because you will no longer feel guilty but so betrayed. That too will pass. Enjoy your day and here's to enjoying everyone for the rest of your life!! PC

  Need help and advice.

  i have been having discussions with my brother who is an elder and his wife.

  we are very close.

  my sister in law wants to have a bible discussion with me.

  Thanks Gary but since I'm into this whole christian thing now I figure maybe I can go that route. It's funny I was the least likely of everyone I know to ever actually believe the bible but now I do. I just don't believe it the way alot of others do.

  though my picture here is fairly close to what i really look like50 tomorrow.

  since i shall be busy tomorrow celebrating my fifty years of existence and especially my almost 5 years of freedom from the (b)org...please be kind to this old lady and stop by and wish me a happy birthday!

  Skipping the Memorial

  this is the first year i've purposely skipped the memorial.

  i gotta tell ya, it feels really good.

  it's a great opportunity to show the dubs just how little influence they actually have.

  When I got home from my church this morning there was a message from a JW who tries to call on me. She was inviting me to the memorial. I thought about how pathetic it is. Everyone all decked out wearing their "Easter " best, having no clue about what they should be really focusing on. I remember it was the one night you almost felt like the worldly people actually celebrating something. pc

  I have been having discussions with my Brother who is an elder and his wife. We are very close. My sister in law wants to have a bible discussion with me. I said fine but, I want to use only the bible and not the NWT. She has agreed. I am now a christian and feel strongly that Jesus did not come from an angel. I would like to ask for some guidence and help from anyone who feels that could add something to begin to open her mind. I don't want to go the UN route because it just makes the think I'm bashing the organization. Thanks everyone in advance. PC

  Anyone been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder?

  i was recently diagnosed with attention deficit disorder and depression at 32 years old.

  i also have obsessive/compulsive tendencies (ocd), as well as mild motor and vocal tics since i was very young (characteristic of tourette's syndrome).

  i'm currently on medication.

  john 10:28 - 30 and i give them everlasting life, and they will by no means ever be destroyed, and no one can snatch them out of my hand.what my father has given me is something greater than all other things, and no one can snatch them out of the hand of the father.

  when jesus was about to die, he showed who his superior was by praying: "father, if you wish, remove this cup from me.

  the one god is eternal (has always existed and always will), immortal (his divine nature cannot die), omnipotent (all-powerful), omniscient (all-knowing), omnipresent (he is everywhere at the same time), god is the only one who can read human hearts and minds, god cannot sin and cannot lie, god does not change his morals or his nature.

  the trinity is not one person revealed three different ways (this is what "oneness pentecostals" believe).

  WOW!! You really put alot of work into this, so let me say thank you. I read your whole post it was great. I am so thankful for people such as yourself who go out of thier way to research and give thier views of all the different topics. I too now believe the trinity, but it always helps to read more evidence of it from the bible. Again a gigantic Thank you for all your hard work! pc
