1) why does the wts insist on claiming that elders are appointed under holy spirit, when it's been proven that they have been guilty of so-called unchristian behaviors?
2) can you prove that they are appointed by holy spirit?.

The GB: evil manipulators or misguided fools
by New Worldly Translation ini've been pondering this question for a while now and i haven't come to a conclusion yet.
on the one hand there is evidence of psychological manipulation in their publications.
they discourage questioning of their authority or even their fallability and try to whitewash past mistakes.

If they are evil manipulators there would be some hope of them being uncovered at some point for what they are.
I agree...I believe the GB, particularly it's leaders, have become the Evil Slave and will be dealt with when the Master arrives, Matthew 24:48-51. Although, I don't believe all the members of the GB are equaly guilty, Luke 12:47-49.

I am totally confused about the new "DF and DA" announcements for March 05
by booker-t ini am totally confused by the new way jw's will be kicked out of the wts.
since they no longer will be classified as df or da can i get a refund on my da and no longer be viewed as "satan" by my former jw friends and family.
how will jw's know if someone is df or da if they are announced "no longer one of jw's?

What obligation do you feel towards your family who are still in?
by czarofmischief ineverybody's situation is different, of course, and everybody has their own choices to make.. but do you recall that when we were dubs, we were constantly urged to go out in service, because people needed to hear what we thought was the truth?
they would use that scripture by paul, "i consider myself a debtor to all men" etc.
to enforce the moral compulsion to go door to door.. now that we know the truth about the truth; how obliged are we to tell our family?

Are you still "hurt" from your JW experience?

i was just wondering if you still feel hurt or some kind of interior pain from your jw days or is it all passed and you have no more feelings towards this organization.... i still feel "hurt" and let down... .
afterall, they were friends, and now they just don't care anymore.

When their Christian meetings are banned, they are willing to suffer rather than stop gathering together as the Bible commands . (Hebrews 10:24,25)
This is one of my many peeves with the GB...Hebrews 10:24,25 is an EXHORTATION NOT A COMMAND!!SHEESH, WHEN WILL THEY GET IT RIGHT!?
With this type of reasoning they are inviting un-nessasary trouble!
