it really is an eerie experience to talk to someone who knows the exact place, circumstance and lifestyle that you do.
even more so than the connectedness of places like jwd.

Even more so than the connectedness of places like JWD. Or to find out that someone saw your exit and had their own doubts at the time but were not brave enough to approach you. Marvelous really.

the event started around noon wiht some of the smaller bands playing on the outdoor revolution stage.
(the bled, medina lake, saosin) we saw the first bit and then went to stand in the merch line up for the next two bands.

Will Races Disappear?
by nvrgnbk inas the world becomes a smaller and smaller place, due to advances in technology, there is increased opportunity for persons of different races and cultures to meet and start families.. will the the differences between the races start to disappear as a result?.
do you believe this would be a positive or negative development?.

No there are still some strong biases to keep races/cultures pure. They will never entirely disappear. However the amount of mixed race families will increase and I hope this will have a positive influence on racism. Judging from my current relationship 10 years from now there will be more mixed race babies on the way when we are well established in our careers.

An Interesting Tidbit
by snowbird ini'm using a public terminal at our bitty little old hometown library because i've lost my in-home connection.. the wife of the po of my old congregation works here, and she gave me the strangest look imaginable when i walked in.
right after i registered and took my place, a sweet little auxiliary pioneer came in and sat right across from me!.
i thought to myself, what in the world is going on?

My hubby just laid down some rules to my elder dad
by Es inrecently an elder called mike's mob phone wanting to speak to me, the only person who could have passed on that info was my elder dad.
mike has been waiting for my dad to call him to arrange to see the kids, as he wont deal with me at all.
so mike said to him i dont appreciate you giving our number out to the elders, we want nothing to do with them or your religion etc... mike than called me and said there was so much more i wanted to tell him.. i get a phone call about 30 mins later, mike had rang my dad and said if you want to see your grandkids then there are a few rules you will need to follow, 1. dont ever give out our personal details (which my dad apologised for and acknowldeged that he shouldnt have done that ) and 2. if you want to see your grandkids you need to speak to your daughter, you can msg her phone or even speak to her.

COLLEGE IS EVIL!!!!!
by why??? inhi everyone...this year i had to go to the district convention and with my newly opened mind...i sat there rolling my eyes the whole time...i was however very distrubed by a talk on higher education...im sure you all know of it...basically telling all of us outright that it was no good and we shouldnt be going...now i know they have done it in the past...but it seemed so blatant this year in your face...college is evil.....here's a related link .

by Honesty indoes your conscience torment you knowing that you are misleading the flock of god as you continue teaching them the heresies of the watchtower society?.
why are you staying in the organization and posting here at the same time?.
do you really believe that you can help your families to reject the watchtower society while remaining an elder and visibly appearing to support their lies and false teachings?.

I would not want to live as they do. However, I would also not want to judge what their choice is. They are informed and they have consented to live the way they do. My target is the JWs who are brainwashed and do not know there is another way, they are victims. Those living a double life are not victims. We have shown them the way out and if they for their own reasons do not choose it how are we better than JWs to force our way on them?
