  well it seems that $750 billion dollar bail out was a waste of time.

  it seems like companies are filing bankruptcy as fast as the market can recoup.

  the crime rate is about to go through the roof.

  High gas prices? TRIBULATION!

  No it just contributes to the decline of the economies of the developed nations. Gas prices have fallen because demand for gas has fallen. When demand moves up prices will move up because the oil fields cannot produce more than they are now producing.

  Stock market slump? TRIBULATION!

  No, it does mean though that many people have seen their life savings shrink to half of what they were.

  Earthquake in California? TRIBULATION!

  Only for those impacted by the earthquake

  President Obama? TRIBULATION!

  No. Obama is a man who has inherited the culmination of decades of unwise policies that have brought the USA to brink of financial collapse. I wish the best for Obama but can he perform miracles?

  Aussie news today Are most Muslim crazed fanatics or what?

  in bali yesterday three terrorist who bombed two night clubs killing and injuring many hundreds of aussies were executed by firing squad.

  huge crowds of angry people showed up to support these martyrs.

  in bali most people treat them like rock stars....the same with 9/11 middle eastern people dancing in the streets.

  The point though is God is the only one who has the right to decide who the wicked are and to take destructive action. Destruction at the hands of God is just but when humans presume to act in his behalf in killing others that is demonic.

  I suppose this will be considered another stupid comment but does anyone really believe the God of Christianity had anything to do with the Catholic Inquisition? Just another example of Satan blinding the minds of people. Also, I do not believe all Muslims are terrorists but many of them are in agreement with what their Muslim Terrorist brothers are doing.

  Sexless marriages

  i've heard of a fair few sexless marriages in the borg, probably something to do with the fact that if you're raised "in" you'll have a pretty skewed view of sex by the time you finally get to do it.

  so if someone is trapped in a sexless marriage, from a jw standpoint they could get an unscriptural divorce...but...that doesn't leave them free to remarry??!

  My first wife was a Baptist and the sex was OK but limited in scope. My second wife is a "born in" JW and the sex has been tremendous! The difference is attitude and the scond wife's attitude is whatever we want to do is our business and not the Elders.

  True Christians give their allegiance to the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ. They do not support the unjust political wars of Christendom or the thousands of innocent deaths that result from these wars. Still, even the “Christians” of Christendom do not revel at the demonic attitude the Islamic terrorists have.

  Having said the above, it seems as if we have some Islamic apologists posting here. Why bring up the ungodly acts of those purporting to be Christians to excuse the terrorist acts of the Islamists? It is the blame game right?

  I've been a JW since 1972 and have seen a lot high handed practices. However, with regard to attending a funeral of a relative in a Church I've only seen reasonableness. In my previous comment I mentioned my son in law who was a MS at the time, well he not only attended but was a pall bearer. He experienced no repercussions and is now an Elder.

  Never been an issue that I have seen. When my ex-Farther In Law died all of my children, their spouses and my ex-wife (all JWs) attended the funeral in a Baptist Church. My ex-Father in law was a Baptist Deacon and one of my son in laws was a Ministerial servant.

  i realize that a person is worth something as a human being, and that irrespective of his faltering financial circumstance.

  he tries to maintain a positive outlook and find new ways to bring in some income.

  Ultimately the rich and poor are equal since all people die. I think though that while one is living it is better to be well off materially as long as one’s viewpoint of life is balanced. The value of a persons life should not be based on their wealth but their moral and ethical integrity. These things being equal the wealthy man will in most instances have an easier course in life than a poor man.
