Sweet imallgrowedup! You and I cancelled out each other's posts.
Puternut, you have a pm.
i had a very interesting phone call today.
a sister (fader) called me, and told me how she and her husband (ex elder) have been thinking about me, and talking late into the night about what they could do for me.
they knew i was disfellowshipped now, and remembered the kindnesses i extended to them for many years while i was an elder.

where are you now - in scotland?.
check in now and then, and tell us what you're up to and how that relative of yours is progressing with your help, ok?
Thanks dh - good update! Look forward to future installments. Love giraffes!

Puternut,
You sure know about a lot of gross incest/molestation cases in your area! What a horrible area apparently - or more likely, you just have the inside scoop that the rest of us are in the dark about in our own areas!!!!!
Elders always have to live with the knowledge of all the filth. How do they remain in the organization??
Best to you.
Seeit

Great Gadget! A real hoot!
something disconcerting i have noticed about most people is how unhappy they allow themselves to become.
so many people qualify their enjoyment.
"i will be happy when", or if this happens then i will be happy!
Gotcha got my forty homey! I know what you mean - and I wish you very well! See ya around the board!

got my forty homey? - I'm not a smart aleck or know it all, just would like to be helpful, as I would hope someone would try to help me if possible - so I just checked out "gout" in google search and it came up with a lot of ideas that claim to really help. I guess you've already tried everything there? It says tart cherry juice REALLY helps and detoxing (general detox - not talking about drugs! :-) really helps get the uric acid down and out.
Mentions to stay away from alcohol and a lot of animal and other proteins and many other foods too. Says high blood pressure makes it worse, etc. So have you already looked into all of this?
Just my 2 cents. Hope you feel better!!!!!!!!! ((((got my forty homey)))

James Thomas, I always enjoy your posts - always - but where are your beautiful pictures?? You've stopped including them? They were great. I really miss them
got my forty homey? - I'm so sorry to hear you feel that way. I have no advice, and I know you didn't ask for any. But I would sure love to see you get some good advice that could improve your joy and sense of well being. Did you say once that you have a very bad back or back surgery? I hope that gets better in time - I have heard it can be pretty depressing at times.
.
folks, i know that good tasting steaks and ground beef exist - all the years of my youth and when i was raising my family, beef tasted great.
now no matter where i buy it, whole foods, ralph's kosher, black angus, etc, the beef tastes downright nasty.. vons has pretty good beef, and i haven't tried an actual meat market, but where do you find good beef?
I went to a local gourmet meats market finally today - bought Korean style marinated steak, rib eyes, prepared meat loaf, and turkey meat loaf.
Got it all home, cooked the Korean steak and the rib eyes - son loved both; Korean was pretty good, nothing great, and the rib eye the same. Tender though.
I hope I hear back from Cowboy. I pm'd him, but he hasn't even posted here in a long time. Will he even get the pm?
I'll try the ranch that Room 215 suggested now.
Thanks!
