  JW friend is now JW bf, help.

  i have a friend whos a jw and last october we started to hang out together (just us two).

  everything was fine, we'd talk, watch movies etc.

  then i started to feel different towards him, i started to like him.

  Hi Am,

  I don't have much advice, but I will tell you that Jehovah's Witnesses are a very closed society. They are taught very deeply ingrained ideas about those on the "outside" in "the world" and relationships between believers and "unbelievers" are very difficult. Even friendships of a non-romantic nature are strongly discouraged and looked down on, so even if your bf is not just on the rebound and a real relationship develops between you, the two of you will have a hard time.

  But I wish you both all the best, and who knows, you could be the one who helps him out of the high-control religion that he is in. Hopefully you will not join them. They are extremely judgmental and their love is very conditional and surface, and their shunning policies are very cruel, destroying the happiness of many a family.

  this little bugger has been moving around on mars for some time now... the engineers say that it is just material from the airbags, but i know better... it's a wabbit!!!

  What causes the ups and downs of this Forum?

  why is it at times this place is hopin with posters eager to speak and spend more time here?

  what causes it to lag and move slow with less excitment?

  is it me, is it the moon, is it just the way things go, what the hell causes it?

  if a religious organization has to publish an article on why it's not a cult, shouldn't that make you wonder why they have to defend themselves?.

  any organization that tells you that you can't trust any information about itself from any source outside that organization has to make you wonder if they are hiding something.. why join an organization, group or club that does not allow its members to leave later without serious repurcussions?

  usually one thinks of crime syndicates, political upheaval groups, etc in these situations.

  take a good look at the april 1, '04 watchtower, with its garish 'wild beast' on the cover.. now, wouldn't this be a perfect opportunity to show a picture of the un building being .

  destroyed at armageddon?

  wouldn't be a good idea to blast the churches of christendom.

  Bad News Today

  my mom's nursing home called today to tell me that the doctor recommended that she go on hospice care.

  they said she has entered the last stage of alzheimer's and is not taking in nutrients, just liquids.

  i'm going there tomorrow morning to fill out the necessary release forms.
