s'funny how we are all so different - i like to work away at my own little corner of the world - modelling behaviour to others - showing them how i would like them to treat me - and having a positive impact on their lives if i can - making a difference i guess it is ... i wanna be here or there or somewhere for any others who are coming away from the WT and i wanna support them ...

HELP! - I'm Torn
by Francois inthere's no doubt that in many religious philosophies, believers are advised not to fight with evil; not to resist.
jesus certainly advised his followers not to "resist evil.".
and that's why i'm torn.. i believe, as do most of you here, that the watchtower bible & tract society is evil; a manifest, clear, present, and palpable evil.

most HATED thing about the meetings ...

i was wondering what it is that you hated most about the meets ?.
the one thing that used to really rile me was the pressure to control the children - the frowns and the disapproving looks when they were just behaving like normal kids .... the worst of it all for me was seeing any little person being taken outside and hearing the loud slaps even when the door was closed .... what is it that you least miss ?

i remember one old sister - used to sing with a very operatic voice - she was a little unaware of things - i'm pretty sure it was a special wig she had for thursday evening meets - the tms and sm - we used to sit behind her and regularly see the family of spiders she had living in that wig ... ahem ...

by nytelecom1 indid being in the org really screw up your idea of what dating is.. i gues you would have to had "courted" in the org to answer this question.. the orgs idea of dating is in a sense to get married.. while outside.... marriage isnt even thought of for a looooong while.. my question is because i dont know if a girl is .
being casual or brushing me off : )

hey nytel, i am 42 now and single again, and a lone dad ... i agree with you - i just cannot tell when a woman is being serious with me, and i've been hit-on without realising it ... everyone else sees it and lets me know when it's too late ... even so, just to start a relationship, because of the programming, seems like a serious big thing to me ...

ramona - i am soo sorry if we have offended you - to be honest, i feel that the laughs here have, on the whole, been quite considerate and clearly marked with affection for the people concerned - i have to say i have heard many a spiteful and inconsiderate comment made by those with a 'good standing' ... bty are you allowed to say 'fart' ? ... anyway - welcome - and it's good i've got two newbies to make their first comment !
