  this book book will help all of jehovahs loyal servants advance .

  EURO

  well at the beginning of the year the euro is the national currency of the member of the european union (execpt for great britain, denmark and norway, i think).

  anyway i just want to know what you all think about this.

  hey fellow brits £££££ all this talk of giving up the pound is nuts - we gave up the pound in the early 1970s ! ! ! !

  £ = 20 shillings
  Shilling = 12 pennies

  none of this old tosh decimal stuff !!! pah !!!

  may as well gve us the euro anyway! ! !

  over a week ago a comment was made regarding a global halt on all kingdom building work.

  these rumours started in the united kingdom and came from a number of sources.

  as per usual the truth of the rumour is a bit different from what is said on the witness grapevine.

  recently i read a thread where someones e-mails had been hacked by local elders.

  i have been e-mailing with a very nice person who has started 'independently thinking' lately.

  because of this thread i wrote her that she should be careful of people finding her e-mails.. the very next day her husband had hacked into her e-mails and was very upset.. i was just wondering for all of you- how many have experiences like this?.

  i think that this post by namewithheld sums up, to my mind at least, the biggest difference between an exjw and a current jw: a flippant attitude about past (and current, for that matter) wrongs.

  when you can no longer glibly pass over other peoples pain at the hands of brothers, is when you can no longer be a part of god's one true (not) organization.

  WTBS CHARGES £10 FOR INFO

  the wtbs in the uk and all the relevant congregations have introduced a 10 charge for anyone wishing to see their personal files and info held under the data protection act.

  information includes publisher record cards, s77 forms, specialised sheperding lists and so on.. i presume that this just applies to the uk.

  does anyone know of any other countries that have started to apply charges?.

  my understanding is that only information held electronically is subject to access ... correction required ?
