  What a digusting attitude by Mr Brown. The emphasis is clearly that the Org is not required to do anything and because they do nothing that's OK then. They are sheilding through inaction. No thought to the victim and his/her spirituality, emotional or physical well being. No protection for other potential victims. No support or guidance for the rest of the flock who will be labeled as peadophile sympathisers by association, most won't even know if they have one in their midst. What a heartless, selfish, self serving cult this is!

  Mr Brown also said:

  The role of a church leader is to help a person spiritually, not prosecute someone for a secular crime

  So if a brother came in to the hall one night, stole the contribution box and the sound system the elders would not call the police?

  i received news from an elder i know in another congregation.

  he told me that things are changing in the way that bethel is running its operations.. i was informed that bethel no longer makes its own ink, but buys it from other companies.. even in the bethel kitchens, there is no more watchtower chicken - meat is bought from outside, this i believe also goes for milk and dairy products too.. can anyone confirm this?

  i have reason to believe it is probably true.. i wonder what would happen if the wt suppliers go out of business?

  So downsizing has hit the WT Org. It must be really humiliating and frustrating to be laid off as a Bethelite giving his/her labour for free, only to be told, "Er, sorry, we don't need you any more". In the real world you'd get paid a minimum of 4 weeks wages to see you off. So lets's see, 4 times nothing is nothing. So not even the bus fare home then.

  anyone else have an aversion to dress clothes, now that you aren't forced to wear a suit and tie (women insert their version here) to sit a stadium for 8 hours on a summer day?

  being forced to do this as a young child traumatized me pretty good!

  I have an aversion to dress clothes. I always found I could never find a tie that fitted, they were always too tight. Perhaps it's just me.

  in 1954 the watch tower society released a new film,"the new world society in action,"which acquainted its "viewers with the magnitude of the society's organization,its institutions,its field activities,its large - scale conventions, its smooth, efficient functioning and the spirit by which it is moved.".

  what its millions of viewers would never see was what went on behind the scenes.what has happened behind the watch tower facade, to real people, not just in the past, but in more recent years?is it a "spiritual paradise" as claimed?.

  we all know of the way that the society has treated its own behind the scenes,such men as edward a.dunlap,respected registar of the society's gilead school.disfellowedshipped.raymond v.franz,governing body member,disfellowedshipped.william and joan cetnar,disfellowedshipped.william h. bowen ( silent lambs ) disfellowedshipped.. however,are you one of the "nameless others" who gave twenty, thirty, forty, fifty years and more of your life in devoted service, only to be demeaned in old age because you tired of a non - scriptural agender, or dared question the "anointed oracles" of the "theocractic organization".. behind the scenes,alcoholism is prevelant among staff members, there are the distraught wives of the headquarters staff, immoral behavior, suicides, this is kept hidden from the membership around the world.all of it is documented, yet, under threat of vilification and fear of man, many serve with mute obedience.. the new world society in action, is a facade!

  im going to be so old by then i probably wont even know what day it is.

  i will be so old i wont be able to hobble to the window to see.

  I'll be 69 - I wouldn't worry. When it don't come in 2034, they'll announce new light, Jesus second coming in 2014 and the Arnageddon in 2075. I'll be 110 then.

  If you are not a baptised JW and would like a Bible study, you are put through to the donations dept. If you have a touch tone phone you can auto dial your bank account/credit card details and the amount of donation.

  If you are a baptised JW and have a query about the UN scandal, you are tranferred automatically to your local library, ticketing dept.

  If you phone to question beliefs and doctrine you are put through to a deaf elder reading Insight into the Scriptures.
