  just wondering.. has anyone ever heard of a person being disfellowshipped for the terrible sin of gluttony?

  isn't it ranked right up there with drunkeness, adultery, murder, etc.?.

  Well, I finally did it!

  finally went through and purged all jw files from our system.

  (my wife and i operate a small business that did business with several khs in the area and a few outside of it.).

  now, that's a funny turn of events, isn't it?

  Does anyone know how prayer is supposed to work?

  is god so (pick one) blind, dumb, arrogant, confused, uninterested...that he needs to actually hear people beseech him for help before he'll actually do anything to help?.

  or how about when people group together and all pray for one thing?

  is it kind of like a barn raising?
