btw, JW's don't relly believe in the grace of god....they don't believe in grace at all, they expect everyone to die a horrible firey death...

i'd wish for the real truth to come out so all this organized religion would fall and piss in their wallow. but even if i was granted that wish, the WT would still believe they are god's sole organization on earth.....so what would be the use?? i change my wish to be w/ my g/f the rest of my life w/ all the beer in the world...

i remember the 1994 prophecy that failed!! i was in the shower just standing there (i have a wierd way of thinking), and i was 10 years old. I remember my mom never reading the Awake! magazine, so i think thats why she is still a JW. but something else that i remember, if my memory serves me correct is that one of my old friends dads killed himself. but for the longest time i couldn't remember the year. then it dawned on me that i think it was a little assembly in 1995, right after the year turned. I vaguely remember going to the assembly because i was sick that day. So of course i didn't pay attention, but i think my friends dad was a MS or an elder or something.... So i don't know if its a coincidence, or he knew something that nobody else in the congregation knew. Any way it goes, i'll never know. But i sure do think that it has something to do with a failed prophecy, and something that he understood.....

JW literature table on campus
by asleif_dufansdottir inas i've mentioned before - most weekday mornings the jws have a table set up by the fountain on campus at asu.
i never see anybody talking to them.
mostly they have just been sitting there with all the literature on display, talking to each other.. however, the last few days i've noticed something strange.

what always caught my fancy was that at my college we always have 1 week every few months where all the businesses from my city come and give us food and stuff and promote their businesses. and always, there's all the bible thumpers...then there's the Jehovah's Witnesses trying to hand out their literature. i have to respect them for doing this, because its a extremely shitty job going to a campus full of college students where all they want is food and beer...

Abusing human fears and emotions
by dustyb inok, this sounds kinda stupid, but i've been thinking of it all night long at work.
almost every government and every organization that has used sheer fear to move the emotions of its followers has fell.
and well, people can only be scared and afraid for so long before they either break down into a mental illness, or walk away and say f**k it all.. me and my g/f had a little talk today.

well i used the word "them" because she's afraid of more than the elders....she's actually afraid of "THEM" as in everyone else. she's afraid of being kicked out of the "social circle" and everything of the sort....

Witnessing to Witnesses: Flawed Doctrine or WT Misdeeds?
by imallgrowedup inwhen we witness to witnesses, what is the most important thing we should talk to them about first - flawed doctrine, or watchtower misdeeds such as the un, child molestation, etc.?
what's your game plan, or what worked on you?
inquiring minds want to know!

there was a good point brought up that all of the WTS mistakes are based upon their flawed (man made) doctrine. biggest thing....1914 is nothing more than a man made date. what i suggest you do is get 5-6 different ways that daniel chapter 4 is used to come to certain dates....
