?1) She lives in London. Of course, the United Kingdom does not exist outside of London.?
What he world continues past the M25???
Seriously though I hate Bridget Jones myself. But I think her character is designed for an American audience more then being based on reality. -

?If you give up there will be a division that can not be bridged. (as in they will not talk to me anymore) I'm torn because I will have to talk to the brothers up their sooner or later. (which I told my husband would happen if I said too much)?
Explain that this idea of a division is their doing and not yours. If communication stops between the two of you, only they can reinstate it. Make them responsible for it. -

We all have bad teeth?.cause we do!!!
by Peppermint inmy american friends, .
when a british person is introduced on one of your tv shows, particularly comedy shows i invariably cringe.
truth is, the person is so far removed from a standard british person, that it is laughable.

"That girl on Frazier (the one who married Niles) is one of the most annoying characters in the history of television, such an overdone, phoney-sounding Brit accent."
I think she is British, but from London not Manchester. But this show is an example of what I mean. When her relatives joined her in a couple of episodes, each of them had completely different regional accent.
By the way, They do speak that way in Manchester you know. -

Is This An Urban Legend?
by TheEdge ini remember, many years ago possibly at an assembly, hearing the story about a baptism (may have been a family being baptised).
upon being baptised, all members of the family cried both tears of joy (for the newly baptised's being anointed by god's spirit at that moment) and of sorrow (as they would never have everlasting life together in an earthly paradise).. is it urban legend?
did anyone else hear this?
