i'm thinking of telling my mother i can't talk to her anymore sine i don't agree with how she is conducting her life.

occasionally, i'll meet up with her and my jw aunt (they work together) with both kids in the car.

my aunt will come over to check out my baby but completely pretend that i'm not even there.

Sure it does. I was in a bit of a 'zone' of some sorts when I wrote that. One size...does NOT fit all. With what I am doing, I am having partial success and really do not know what will happen in the future.

Sometimes, I read with sadness where some people react, imo, in a 'mean way' towards their JW relatives. They are victims, just like we were. We do need to be assertive, but, not almost militant and dogmatic, like some.

However, each of us have to decide what is best in our very different cases. Sorry, if I was being 'one-sided' on this.

Two wrongs...don't make a right ! Ever.

I am slowly winning back family members, because, I do treat them better that I get. Other non-JW relatives, also see the difference with the love and concern I can show, as diametrically opposed to the "good Christian Jehovah's Witnesses".

We have a very good position, they don't. I don't believe it being a 'wallflower' or being walked on. I refuse to 'go to the end of the line' or be ignored. I won't play their games or emulate them.

I don't think it's a matter of getting even.

ok...we have been stocking up our liquor bar....and i saw this whisky: macnaughton for super cheap.....................(it says it is a canadian whiskey...but don't believe it........i know canadian whiskey's...this doesn't qualify).

Little Toe, IV, huh? Well, this stuff almost took the skin off my mouth, especially with no- ice!

I have Macallan 12 year old Scotch. Just for fun...I tried it last night over lots of ice & ginger ale. It was all I had! It was pretty good tho'.

I used to believe that, too. When I was a JW, I found out one of my best friends was gay, like the good Witness I was...I turned him in to the Elders. He was disfellowshipped. I was "comforted" by the Elders, they told me I did the "Christ-like" loving thing...this would "help" him to "do the right thing".

Somehow, I always thought I'd made a mistake, because...I felt guilty for my part in getting him kicked out. I still do. I always wondered what happened to him. I've recently done all types of searches to find him to apologize. Maybe, this helped him get away from this cult. The thing is...he was suffering from depression and I've always worried about the possibility of suicide. He lost all his friends for something I believe now, he has no choice in. He was born gay.

So, please be careful...you are thinking dangerously.

I hope you stick around and read some of the threads here. There are several people here that are gay, that would gladly help see you thru the pressures you are under right now.

How would you know if I have, or have not informed them Rabbit? You say that I haven't, how would you know this?
I have spoken with Elders in the congregation that I attend, and informed them of the reason that I left, and why I have returned. Is it wrong for me to question my beliefs, and also, is it wrong that I am spreading bible truths on the internet? Would Christ disapprove of my actions?

I do not know. I have been asking you this question for weeks and you would not answer. Thank you.

Now, is is wrong for you to be here on an internet board full of X-JW's ? Not at all, not as far as I'm concerned.

Here's the catch...and it a real "Catch-22", you SHOULD have a right to examine and read anything you want to in your quest for the Truth. That would be the fair thing. The Watchtower is not fair nor understanding like you want to believe. They WILL disfellowship you if you are found out, you'll be branded as an apostate. If you have friends or family that are "in" can you afford to be DF?

The WTS is in a position to teach bible truths because they have the tools set in place to do this. Whether or not they are a direct link to Jehovah will remain to be seen. I for one believe that they are the most accurate of al religions. I will show people that are truly sincere in their beliefs why I believe this..............have a great day.
