You ever just stop and listen to dubs and the way they talk?
by doodle-v ini went to get my hair done and my beautician happens to be a dub.
she has known me and my family for a long time and she has an idea that im "inactive" but thankfully she hasnt been really nosy otherwise i would take my business elsewhere.
anyway, i've long since faded and when i do go to get my hair done i manage to avoid all "jehoober" related conversation and have so far been successful.

OOOOOHHHHHHH The thought of spiders makes my skin crawl!!!!!! I live in the woods and we have LOTS of these wood spiders or some people call them wolf spiders. They are HUGE! They come out at night to hunt. They don't have webs and they carry their babies on their backs! They are really interesting, but very, very scary! One night I got up for the pee call and saw one on the wall. My husband took the dictionary and slammed it up against it! I had to clean the smear mark off the wall! Thats how big it was!!!

i left when i was 14 and that was 30 years ago, i thought i was well over it but when i read some of the postings on here they really got to me.
there are definitely long term effects.

i live with my mother who is in her late 70's and has been a witness for over 50 years.

I saw this in my own congregation too awhile back. When you're too old to be in their service, your kinda put out to pasture and forgotten about, especially those that end up in the nursing home. It's a sad thing. They're all too busy doing the all important work than showing love to those who don't have the strength to do it anymore......

Big 7, Barbies, Bikes, Baseball, Bouncing Babies No More!
by Valis inwent down for big 7 birthday party to wit the corporate executives at mattel are singing praises to jehovah i'm sure.
the ride down was great...except for the wind blowing north and me going south...eh the blubonnets aren't quite out in all thier texas glory yet so i didn't really bother.
i was much more interested in going down and spending the little time i had to see them both.
