Our new Canadian Health care system......Rant

so, with our new budget, what do you think of all our upcoming cuts?.

what do you think of paying a preimium now?.

i am very disturbed about it myself...to me, it is like the middle guy that is getting burned again.

i think it depends on the province you live in. yukon territory saskatchewan and newfoudland dont pay premiums

in the yukon prescriptions for medicine are free under certain conditions.The home care also varies as to what they offer now.

I have lived in alot of provinces and I found the best medical care in whitehorse yukon territory if you can believe it.i guess all the doctors want to live there.

Its to bad you have had such a long wait.last year i went for a routine test they found a tumor on my heart which i didnt know was there and the next day had open heart surgery.so for me there was no waiting..

What i like about our medical care is that it is free i wonder what it would have cost me in the states with no insurance?

well the elections are coming up and all are promising the world, of course you know if paul martin wanted to put more money into health care he would have done it before now, they have had many years in power to make things right.

The most important thing i think is to keep the private pay for treatment clinics out of canada if they get a foothold it will become a two tier system.

a morbid topic i know, but one that has played on my mind since i was df'd.. my mum is still a very devout witness.

if anything happened to her, what would the witness position be on my attending the funeral ?.

i know she would (quite rightly)expect a service at the kingdom hall.

when my dad died they hardly mentioned him.they spent the whole time witnessing. I thought his life was worth more than just mentioning his name. I think the funerals are like the religion cold and completely void of love.

they still wouldnt talk to you if you are disfellowshiped.

JW stabs husband; he refuses blood

the australian jw couple were married only 10 days prior in bali, but on saturday something went awry.

a dispute arose between the two and she stabbed him in the back and arm.

in critical condition and in need of blood, he refused.

Benefit of UN affiliation??

of what benefit was it to the wtbts to register with the un?

i imagine it was of significant value to risk such a huge scandal.

they joined to get a library card .you cant join the ymca but they can join the un/ngo

Human rulers seek to establish their greatness by ?lording it over? the people and by seeking great titles?Jesus said that true greatness comes from ministering to others?diligently and persistently reaching out to serve.
Titles, such as governing body member, anointed, remnant, Bethel elder, circuit overseer, district overseer, zone overseer, presiding overseer, secretary, service overseer, congregation book study overseer, theocratic ministry school overseer, Watchtower study overseer, elder, ministerial servant, elder?s wife (haha), city overseer, convention overseer, Gilead graduate.
About 1972, congregation servants stopped "serving" and became "overseers." Hmmm?

FDS Sends Convention Delegates Packin'

jehovah's witness across north america are being sternly counseled at this week's service meeting that they should pack lunches during the 2004 dictrict convention instead of leaving the site to eat elsewere or return with food.

in a letter read during the announcements, members are told this is a "serious problem".

reportedly jws have been banned from some convention locations because the venues want concession stand business if jws insist on bringing carry-out meals into the facility.

he only gave them fish and bread. This was to help say that we need to bring a "lite lunch." They even gave examples of the kind of food we should bring!!!! It was absurd!

Yah like they could hop off to macdonalds in Jesus day.
