HUH!??
robdar inspired this thread in me.
her thread asked why aren't you at the hall and it made me think about how i would be if i did go.. how would you dress?.
how would you act?.
I would wear something very nice.Drive the beamer wear the diamonds and have my nose up in the air high.Hmmmm thats kinda mean isnt it.
a bunch of people at work were talking and it was amazing who some of them knew (or had a connection to...).
so, do you have a claim to fame?
mooch off an association?
one thing jws do, and especially elders, is counsel people.
everything is all about setting a person straight.
even bible students are conditioned to be counseled and to do the same toward any that ask them questions as to what they believe.
Yes, and I took it laying down!
i saw your post in the water vs. coke thread, which seemed to get kind of lost in the passionate debate (which will happen occasionally!
), and i wanted to say a formal "welcome to the board!
" we're glad to have you hear and look forward to hearing more about you as time goes on.. i visited devon way back in 1974 and loved it.
Welcome Tiamat,Its always good to see someone newer than me?
.
no exceptions......... " i wish i could come up with better starter questions than minimus......".
your go........ (one wish remember)
I would wish to live a long fulfilling life.
.
just wanted to wish a happy valentines day to all of you wonderful apostababes!
.
Happy valentines day to you too!!!
now that you don't practice the religion, is it safe to say that you reject everything that you were taught??
?
Im still working thru what I and what I dont believe .But I do feel that some of their teachings are useful.
its my first post and i don't really know where to start, there been so much on my mind.
i've been reading threads on this site like crazy and obtained a copy of coc from the library yesterday.
i stayed up until 4am reading it, and i'm impressed with the way it was written - its just like reading a w only the subject matter is a little different hehe.. i'll break myself in gently with this site over time but basically a few things about me are: born in a jw family, baptized as a young teen, 1 yr aux pio, several yrs as reg pio, 1 year as 'special' full time pio at bethel.
Welcom boa. I have been here for about a month and it has been extremly helpful to me.Alot of warm wonderful people.
