  okay ... i know that there are a lot of depressing stories about people leaving the borg ... i personally am very happy that people are leaving.

  totally miserable ~~ before i could leave successfully.

  and believe me, the elders made it possible for me to be v-e-r-y miserable!!!

  Do you still believe in God?

  i'm a recent departee and am now re-evaluating all my previous beliefs and there's none more fundamental.

  however, i'm not sure where to start: i'm sure i don't need to say there's an enormous amount of nonsense out there.

  frankly, in spite of their other stupid teachings, i am considering reviewing again the articles in wt library as i think they do try to sincerely prove the existence of god.

  I'm New Here.... Part 2

  so, i got home from my tryst and sure enough, everyone knew all the details.

  so a judicial comittee was set up.

  i was accused of coercing a happily married woman to drive 8 hours to spend 4 days with me in various hotel rooms all at her husband's expense.

  i had been surfing around was born into the jw faith and was a po's wife for about 15 years and am now out in the big bad world and finding it slightly awesome.

  Did the Circut overseer ever scare you as a kid?

  i will tell you what used to scare me real good was the circuit overseer when he would come to my parents home to stay.

  my parents would get real stressed out trying to find just the right food dishs and fix his bed real nice, and fight among them self's because of the stress of it all.

  so he always looked like this to me at the young age of six:

  i knew some parents who really beat the hell out of their kids.

  anyone else remember this?

  seems like when i was a kid, you could'nt go to a meeting without hearing screams of pain from either the b room or the bathrooms.

  Seattle Ex-JW Dinner Meet-up

  after considerable discussion on where to go, lots of good advice, several attempts at reservations that did not pan out, i have finally reserved a place for dinner.. anyone in or near the seattle area please join us on february 7, 2004 at 6:30 p.m. at tony roma's at southcenter.

  for those coming in from out of town, southcenter is located close to where i-5 and i-405 meet south of seattle.
