i was brought up in the "truth" for over 30 years, mum was too, dad in it since a teenager, they were pioneers, i pioneered, ive left, managed not to be disfellowshipped, i dont believe it, but i love my parents, theyre nice people, victims too, how do i not take it out on them, i have a drink in my hand its how im starting to cope, its hard to deal with right?

i just dont know what i want to do, its not a question i have asked myself much in the past, it was all about what should i be doing to please whoever, did you struggle with confidence or is that just me?
I struggle daily with this but as time goes by I have been promised that I will struggle less. I am new here too and have found this forum the only place, where people really understand.

1. boring announcements and an equally frustratng review of what needs to be done to prepare for the memorial.
as if all in attendance needed to be involved in bringing the glasses, wine, bread, and the appropriate accoutrements.. 2. a 20 minute review of how to place the time and location on the memorial invitation.
They treat their flock like idiots always have, always will.
Yet, they con the flock to think they are the most educated people on earth.

it was only a matter of time before my uncle nathan passed away.
i wished i had gone and seen him before he died, but i didn't because we had a dustup about a month ago.
he was a sad tale..he had the talent beaten out of him by his abusive alchoholic elder for a father...he played classical cello for a while...except all that talent was robbed from him...so he ran...ran away and joined the navy...left the navy and led a hard life...jail, homelessness, near death motorcycle accidents, etc...he ended up in the va hospital about a year ago...he had fallen into a deep depression after succumbing to the inherited condition anti trypsin(sp?

All three of my kids gave me something special and its the first time since leaving JW's that this has happened!
I feel sorry for some this day that have lost contact with their mothers or mothers with their children.
