  Was God in this disaster?

  i got this in my email and thought i would pass it along.

  i know many of us are struggling with so many issues involving god and the bad things that happen.

  for me this recent tsunami disaster was over the top, i'm beyond understanding and i'm not going to say this article helped me understand any better but it did show me that x-jw's aren't the only ones who struggle with such questions.

  IMPO, no. It is the cycle of the earth. A natural disaster, that the earth has been spewing since its exsistence. Along with tornados, volcanos, floods, etc.

  Well, the 1st thing I thought of is......Jesus said his yoke is light, (not Satans). The WTS is a hard, strict, controlling, etc. etc. unyielding orginization. Hmmmmmmm... where does that leave Satan??

  many jehovah's witnesses believe what they've been told about ex-witnesses.

  they say that exjws simply want to live an immoral life.

  they say that exjws cannot live up to "jehovah's standards".

  Actually, I have grown alot. I'm learning to be more reasonable and balanced. Something the WTS doesn't offer. Immorality can be a 'knee-jerk' reaction because of this.
  
  If there are no victims to our actions, I say live and let live.

  shouldn't a religion bring people closer to god?

  it would seem that many became atheist after being deceived by the wts.

  unlike other religions, the wts was very precise in what was to happen during the 20th century.

  Fired for eating pork........

  orlando, fla. -- a central florida woman was fired from her job after eating "unclean" meat and violating a reported company policy that pork and pork products are not permissible on company premises, according to local 6 news.

  Legally, she probably has a case. Morally/ethically, if she was aware of the verbal agreement why did she choose to eat the pork? Somethin doesn't add up. How long was she employed? 10 months? Decides to have some bacon for lunch one day, after almost a year? First offence for her? Sounds fishy!! Or porky!!!
