the reason why i ask is because whenever u are df and u are trying to get reinstated they are always tellling u that u have to produce fruits befitting repentenace like attending the meetings,etc.

They don't. Only Jehovah can read the the heart. But, policy is that it is Better to err on the side of mercy. If you confess usually that may be taken as evidence of godly repentance but not if you confess after you are snagged.
Bottom line is elders do not know,
one thing that jw's teach that i can't abide by is that god allows bad things to happen so that he can vindicate his name after satan challenged him in the garden of eden.
if you tell me that god is loving, than you cannot also state that he would allow an earthful of people to suffer starvation, cancer, war and countless other atrocities simply so that he feels better about being challenged.

Although I am convinced in the existence of God, I too cannot understand why bad things happen to peopel and why God allows it. Problem is understing God not questioning His existence.

But when someone high up leaves the org and then questions basic things, even about the existence of God and relationship with him after leaving even though serving many years puts the appointment system into question
1. the elder i was in a bissness with decided a hand shake was not a contract, and paid me $500 dollars instead of the $3,000 he should have....i felt so stupid, but quit with him and treated him like a disfellowshiped person since....also he would pay me half a days wage when i worked from 8am till 3pm ???????
when told about this he said sorry but "couldn't work out how to re-emburse the lost hours.".
2. my elderly mum sold some furniture when moving, to a sister who promised to pay from her single parent pension in small installments........nope!
Fair to say that these guys eventually got kicked out for other ofenses.
most of us who were in the jehovah's witnesses for some time realize that for years the watchtower society had always discouraged it's rank and file members from going to see therapists, or professional counselors if they had depression, or serious chemical depression.
the watchtower society always told us to go out in service more, do more personal study, be more regular at meetings - and essentially we would lose our depression , and everything would fall right back into place.
the old, " don't worry, be happy " cliche.

I have also been robbed by individual brothers. Outright robbed property from my house and betrayed by a bother who provided confidential business info to my customers costing me untold thousands if not more.
Who can you trust?
most of us are awash with beliefs of all sorts.
we are steeped in the common sense and prevailing wisdom of our culture, traditions, communities, profession, family, and friends.
belief is very personal for each of us.
There exists a difference between Knowledge and Fact. One can think that they know something and yet be totally fooled, for example a person may read a Bible translation and think that they know for a fact the meaning of what the author wrote. He may put his head under a Guilutene believing that he knows. He might be right but unless the author told him waht he meant he really does not know even though he is comvinced that he does.
Knowing that somemthing is true involves measuring (physical obeservation), believing that something is true involves reaching a conclusion.
In order for someone to really know that something is true or factual, such thing must be measured and the person that thinks correctly is conviced that such is not an illusion if he measured correctly. A person may say I know that have 50 cents in my purse yet be mistaken becuase he miscounted or did not see clearly yet another person can claim that he knows that something is true and have accurate knowledge.
Some people are so fooled that they believe that they know and think that they know that something is true or a fact but are in error.
"You know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God" The Saducees were mistaken in what they believed that they knew.
What counts is what is a fact. Fact is not contingent upon knowlwdge of believe. A vaccine will work wether you believe it or not or know it or not.
Belief is what God requires, and Religions if you want to be a member.
People confuse believing meaning to trust and beliefs conclusions.
God and Jesus wants us to (believe) trust them, not meaning that were are required to believe in theories that cannot be known.

The subjugation of palestinians in Israel territory is very sad.
The taking of the land ffrom the occupantsof Palestine cannot be justified but now "Israel Republic" exists and civilians living in Israel should not have to live terrorized.(even some opossers of Israel admit)
At one time Palestinians were treated with compassion by the "Israeli" army but Palestinian fighters took that opportunity to fill ambulances with bombs and Palestenians seeking medical help. women and children prtending to need help to bomb israeli citizen. THose acts ended compassion and now innocent palestinians must suffer. The army is now forced to act that way to protect Isreali citizens I have been told. Why take a chance they reason?

I agree, the designer did a great job. I was use to your old design however and thought that it worked excellent. I did not think that you needed any change in appearance for the site. I am having a problem adjusting to the new design.
