  at least 6 or 7 killed, dozens injured.

  single shooter on the run, police doesn't rule out more shooters.

  “ I am coming quickly” 2000 years later is not quickly. Since the Bible is inspired, we need to understand how did Jesus come quickly.” Also, if you tell someone that the GT will arrive soon and you don’t even know if it is going to arrive at all during his lifespan, what do you mean by “soon”?

  DJW, you are cool. In the heat of discussion I’ve often posted rashly here. I respect you for your honesty. I’ve noted this virtue in your other posts. I too mean no offense with my posts. I don’t preach to the choir here on this forum. Many posters here make good point. I’m not going to pretend they are not and resort to fallacy to win an argument. I would be lying to myself. I don’t want to give the impression that my objective approach to the forensic analysis and critical thinking of wt beliefs and practices on board means I don’t sincerely believe in my religion. I do believe. But I also enjoy the discussions here. It is interesting. I don’t need to be defensive about it in an apologetic manner.

  I also compassionately understand the feelings of people here because I too have feelings.

  Archaeopteryx is supposed to be the missing link between birds and dinosaurs, supposedly having feathers but are flying dinosaurs birds? For example bats, flying squirrels, pterodactyls fly but they aren’t birds. What kind of creature is Archaeopteryx?

  didn't know silicon valley bank was so important for start-ups....now there's some sort of contagion, people taking their money from regional banks to the big banks.

  system seems pretty resilient and different from 2008. thoughts?.

  Thanks for the vid! Would like to understand what is the proximate cause. At first, I thought like DD that the banks made real dumb investments like to the outfits he mentions in his post. But after watching the vid, a lot of banks are affected and has to be something even bigger. I don’t think it is a coincidence but I could be wrong that after the economic sanctions aimed at Russia, a lot of things in the US have changed for the worse as if the sanctions are backfiring on the American people. But I am all ears if someone knows what is going on with the banks.

  am pointing out that your comments give me the impression that you are not entirely whom you claim to be.

  Read my posts here and think again. Your erroneous conclusions also show how you misunderstand the Bible. I am not going my practice my religion by your likings. I also previously made it clear to you my religious position. I am enjoying posting on this forum and having academic friendly discussions.   Self-defense can be violent, but that doesn’t legally make me an assailant for not being the victim

  Sadly, it does in the US. Or rather it can be be construed that way. In other countries they may give you a medal of honor, maybe but not in the US. Like I stated previously, have fun defending a civil lawsuit or criminal charges against a prosecutor who has zero interest in justice and just wants to win. You have zero idea what you are up against. Wises thing to do is to surrender your money when being robbed and to use the least force when being attacked even if someone breaks into your home. If your actions are not based on fear but on anger as you post appears to show, that will be used against you. because you will definitely be sued if you hurt someone and the DA will also evaluate the force you used.

  One example is Bernie Getz who was definitely being mugged. At first he was hailed a hero but then look what happened to him. He was being robbed by many assailants and used deadly force —but he was angry. So he got himself into a legal mess.

  Another recent example is a father who saw his child being segsually assaulted and killed the guy. Now he is wearing an orange jumpsuit. There are tons of others. At the very least it will cost you tons of money. Obviously, if you truly are in fear of your life and can’t get away, then using force to defend yourself may be your only choice even if costs you all your money to defend legal proceedings and even if you wind up in jail. In the US criminals have rights too. Let’s say you set up a device to trap someone breaking into your property and someone with criminal intention breaks into your property and is injured by your trap, you may be held civilly and criminally liable. Lets say someone breaks into your home at night with you inside and you unalive that person, you may also be legally liable. Lets say you have a sign saying beware of dog and someone is bit by your violent dog, you may be legally liable. If you don’t like US laws, that’s the way they cut the cookie. Don’t call me fishy face because you don’t like good information.
